“Whatever you do, you need courage. Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising which tempt you to believe that your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end, requires some of the same courage.”

–Ralph Waldo Emerson

Rayman, The hero of the Glade of Dreams and protector of the dreamer.

Crash Bandicoot, the hero of the Wumpa Islands.

Before We Start…

Both franchises started out as just video games, however, they evolved into more media such as comics, shows, crossovers, etc.

In the case of Crash, all games are canon, and Crash 4: It's About Time is mocked is as Crash Bandicoot's canon is subjective and depends on what the player wants to believe.

In the case of Rayman, it will be clarified later (See "Canon" Before the Verdict)

Background

Rayman

“When the Creator had his very first bad dream, the nymphs gathered to invoke a being of light capable of saving our world: a creature both agile and carefree, as tenacious as he is hilarious, destined to crack up the Creator with his heroic antics and stop the nightmare!”

Hi Folks! You want to know what's going on? Let me tell you the story of Rayman…

In Rayman's world, nature and people live together in peace... The Great Protoon provides and maintains the harmony and balance in the world. Sorry Folks, this apparently can't last. Do you want to play or what?... one fateful day, the evil Mr Dark steals the Great Protoon and defeats Betilla the Fairy as she tries to protect it! The Electoons who used to gravitate around it lose their natural stability and scatter all over the world!

Troublesome, isn't it? And untidy, too! In the now-unbalanced world, strange phenomena begin to occur: freaks and hostile characters appear, capturing every Electoon they can find! They definitely need a hero to save them now, don't you think?

Rayman to the rescue! As the guardian of this world, he must free the Electoons, recapture the Great Protoon from its mysterious kidnapper and reassemble them all to restore the world's harmony. But will the bad guys let him do it?...

No wise man or magician can say by what twist of fate or whim of the gods Rayman came to appear at the Glade of Dreams.

All we know of him comes from the fishermen on the Sea of Lums. After a particularly stormy night they found him sleeping peacefully in the shade of a palm tree. Frightened by this strange creature from the sea, they called on the people of the forest, the skies and the waters for help. And the sun had not yet reached the zenith when a host of beings, each one more bizarre than the next, came tumbling over the violet sand dunes. They watched him for a long time. "What kind of a man can he be who has neither legs nor arms?", they asked one another. "Can he possibly be alive?" wondered one of them when Rayman stretched and yawned loudly.

It didn't take Rayman long to convince the people of the Glade of Dreams of his good intentions. His energy and good humour, his fantastical powers and love of life and nature won over even the most distrustful of creatures. And when he triumphed over the evil Mister Dark, the truth was undeniable: Rayman was the bravest of them all, the ideal hero, the man for whom friendship and laughter are more important than anything else, for whom the greatest victory is measured by the extent of the celebrations that follow it.

Or at least that was known before….

When the Creator had his very first bad dream, the nymphs gathered to invoke a being of light capable of saving our world: a creature both agile and carefree, as tenacious as he is hilarious, destined to crack up the Creator with his heroic antics and stop the nightmare!

Unfortunately, although not surprisingly, our bedazzling and bodacious nymphs were distracted by some zombie chickens on their way to Bubble Dreamer's sacred snoring grounds, and they lost a sack of lums chasing the crazy creatures over a cliff. Thus, they arrived late and with a lot less illumination.

In the end, Rayman was born with a few fewer limbs, which as it turned out, made him a whole lot more limber!

—Manual, Rayman Origins

It is not specified whether this story is intended to replace or complement the one from the Rayman 2 manual. It also conflicts with Rayman 2, where Rayman and Jano do not appear to have met before, and it does not explain the existence of Tarayzan, among other things.

Additionally, this story contradicts that of the origins of the same Zombie Chickens which, according to the manual of Rayman 2 and their in-game description in Rayman 3, were created because of the damages the Robo-Pirates have caused when invading the Glade of Dreams, and therefore would not have existed yet at the time of Rayman's birth.

This story is also slightly different from the scene shown in the announcement trailer of Rayman Origins, when it was still in its early stage as a prequel and not a sequel to the original trilogy, and where Betilla is seen as the only fairy creating Rayman.

Crash Bandicoot

“Woah”

Captured and mutated by Neo Cortex and N. Brio, he alongside Tawna were given human-level sapience and physiology. Intended to be the general of an army of mutant animals, Crash is then put to the test by Cortex in a nine-month training programme, after which he would be sent to the Cortex Vortex for brainwashing. Despite Brio's warnings about the machine not being prepared, Cortex goes through with the process, which fails and allows Crash to escape. He flees Cortex Castle by jumping out of a window and falling down into the ocean, leaving his girlfriend in the hands of the scientists.

He then awakes dazed and lost on the shore of N. Sanity island, determined to save Tawna and stop Cortex's plans of world domination, he set off on a quest to traverse the Wumpa Islands and reach Cortex Castle. Crash soon encounters a witch doctor mask, Aku Aku, who watches over him and protects him from various perils, and would soon grow a close, fatherly bond with Crash.

Throughout Crash's journey, he faces Papu Papu, Ripper Roo, Koala Kong and Pinstripe Potoroo until he reaches Cortex Castle, N. Brio was the penultimate enemy to defeat, fought in his chemistry room, he attempted to fight Crash off with his chemical solution, then drinking them, turning himself into a Hulk-like monster. After Crash defeats Brio, a bunsen burner from Brio's chemistry table is knocked over, setting the castle alight, Crash flees through the lab and makes it to The Great Hall, reaching the end of his quest.

Finally, at the end of the journey, Crash faces up against Cortex himself, on the top of Cortex's airship. Cortex, full of rage, curses Crash for ruining his plans, defeating his henchmen and destroying his lair. The two battle on the top of the airship; Cortex fires blasts of plasma at Crash with his ray gun from his hoverboard, only for Crash to deflect the bolts right back at Cortex by spinning them away. Soon Cortex's hoverboard is hit by one plasma blast too many, causing it to explode and send Cortex plummeting toward the ground far below. Crash happily reunites with Tawna on top of the airship and the two share a hug.

A year after his last encounter with Cortex, Crash is seen relaxing in the woods with his young sister Coco Bandicoot, who wakes him from his nap and asks him to find a new laptop battery for her. Before he can get very far, he is abducted by Neo Cortex to a Warp Room, who claims to have "changed" his ways and asks Crash for help, Cortex asks Crash to gather the twenty-five Crystals to stop a deadly 'Planetary Alignment', which threatens to destroy all life on Earth.

Meanwhile, N. Brio, angry at Cortex for replacing him with Doctor N. Gin, asks Crash to gather the forty-two Gems instead to destroy Cortex's space station and warns Crash that he will do everything in his power to stop him from gathering crystals. As Crash couldn't collect everything on his own, he employed the help of a polar bear cub named Polar, whom he would later adopt as a pet. Coco also hacks into Cortex's communications and is suspicious of Cortex's true plans, every 5 crystals Crash collects grants him access to the platform to take him to the room above. However, Crash must defeat a boss to enter.

After facing off the Ripper Roo, Komodo Brothers, Tiny Tiger, who were all working for N. Brio, and collecting twenty crystals, Cortex warns Crash that Brio is not to be trusted, and instructs him to deliver the crystals to N. Gin. Instead, Crash fights and defeats N. Gin, infuriating Cortex, who demands that Crash bring the crystals directly to him. When Crash collects all twenty-five crystals, Coco exposes Cortex's lies; the planetary alignment was a hoax, and he actually intended to use the crystals to power his new and improved Cortex Vortex to brainwash the entire world.

Crash reaches Cortex, who takes the crystals and attempts to flee by jet pack in space. Crash, being faster with a jet pack of his own, dodges all obstacles in his way and spins Cortex three times, destroying his jet pack and sending him floating off into deep space. Crash returns home to relax on the beach with Coco, who ponders what became of Cortex, pointing out that the Cortex Vortex space station is still operational. Crash finally gathers all 42 gems, which Brio uses to build a powerful laser to destroy the Cortex Vortex, and gives Crash the honors of activating the laser. Along with Brio and Coco, he watches the station explode to pieces.

Crash is a primary protagonist in It's About Time. When Aku Aku senses trouble at N. Sanity Peak, he and Crash travel there and meet Lani-Loli, a member of the Quantum Masks. Nearby, they find a quantum rift, a literal hole in space acting as a gate between dimensions. Together Crash, Coco, and other allies travel through these rifts to stop Nefarious Tropy and Neo Cortex from conquering the multiverse. Additionally, Crash's very existence is threatened when Cortex returns to the past to undo his creation. This backfires when, after Cortex's defeat, Crash accidentally breaks a piece of the Cortex Vortex. The Vortex malfunctions with his past self inside, forming a time loop wherein Crash is responsible for his own creation.

Eleven flashback tape levels are exclusive to Crash which delve into his backstory and relationships to other characters. After subjecting Crash to the Evolvo-Ray, Cortex designed a series of harrowing trials to test his aptitude as a mutant soldier, developing a fatherly affection for him in the process. Meanwhile, Nitrus Brio ran his own trials, plotting for Crash to help him betray Cortex. The footage ends soon before Crash's escape at the beginning of Crash Bandicoot.

Crash narrates the 100% ending epilogue, assuring players that he is doing “just fine” following the events of the game.

Experience & Skill

Rayman

Rayman was created for the purpose of protecting the Glade of Dreams after Polokus had a nightmare, which means that from the moment Rayman was born, he has fought to defend his world against constant threats that emerge from the dreamer's nightmares. He is a cunning, agile and athletic fighter who knows Fu-Kung, the martial art of the Glade of Dreams. He has hundreds of years of experience, and often takes 100-year naps casually. His fighting style is mainly based on taking advantage of the scenery to his advantage in the fight, as well as adapting in dangerous and disadvantageous situations.

After several adventures, he arrived in Valhalla, proving to be one of the best fighters, and this is remarkable, since in Brawlhalla there are experienced fighters like Artemis, who traveled all over the universe learning fighting styles, or Bödvar, a fighter who has trained for more than fifty years.

With all the Lums, Rayman obtains the knowledge of the world, which makes him know all the secrets that exist about the creation and even before this, becoming totally Omniscient.

Crash Bandicoot

General intelligence

Crash is someone very cunning, able to solve complex puzzles very easily. He is a mechanical genius, being able to create cars or vehicles such as rockets.

Combat Skill

Crash is a born fighter, he is someone incredibly agile and stealthy, something that is remarked several times throughout the saga. He was able to learn to handle the Mecha Bandicoot (an invention of Cortex) quickly and without knowing it, defeating the evil twins themselves, two beings of extreme intelligence whose brains were deformed and enhanced in the tenth dimension, giving them reality warping capabilities and the ability to create complex devices.

He is also sensationally skilled, capable of defeating the sensei shrine, only the best skylanders can achieve that sensationally. He has faced numerous enemies and geniuses like Cortex, or even N Tropy and his alternate universe version when both were going to conquer the Multiverse.

No matter the adversity, Crash has proven time and time again that he can adapt to any style of combat he sets his mind to.

Arsenal

Rayman

Incrediballs

In the mobile game Rayman Adventures, Rayman has the help of small creatures hatched from eggs called Incrediballs, which in exchange for incubating them for a short time like 7 HOURS? (my God now I understand why they released so many mobile games) can give effects that will benefit Rayman, there are 3 types of Incrediballs and with different rarities.

Inhalers: When activated, they produce an area of effect that collects Lums and Coins nearby, its power increases depending on how many of them are activated.

Protectors: When Rayman takes damage, the effect of the protectors is activated, making him invulnerable for a few seconds.

Seekers: Find 3 Secrets in the levels, depending on how many you have, more secrets you can unlock.

Kart

Power-ups are traditionally found in spinning boxes with question marks on, and the computer chooses one of the following at random.

Boxer Gloves: Spin around the character and are thrown at opponents.

Boost: Gives the player two boosts.

Fairy Blessing: Increases the player's speed and makes them invincible for a while (though not immune to Nukes)

Nuke: Locks onto the racer in first place and knocks him off guard.

Tornado: Sends all the other racers flying.

Special: Allows a character to use his special power up.

Lums

“First, you must know that the universe is made of energy. Everything that moves around you, everything that lives and thinks is given life by the tiny magical lights which we call... Lums.”

Lums are fundamental in the world of Rayman. Without them, nothing exists. They were responsible for creating Polokus, who created the Glade of Dreams, and they are Power-ups that Rayman collects throughout almost every game. In Rayman 2, the yellow Lums make up everything that exists and we see, and are the pieces of the heart of the world that the Pirates destroyed. There are different types of Lums with unique abilities:

Yellow Lums: These are the 1000 energy bursts broken from the Primordial Core when the pirates exploded it. When Rayman has collected enough of them, he'll be able to negotiate his entry into new worlds.

In addition, they contain precious knowledge. The more Rauman can gather, the more he knows of the secrets of the world. At any moment in the game, just press the L Button to read new information provided by the Yellow Lums.

Super Yellow Lums: Ancient Lums are recognizable by their larger size and big smiles. They are five times more powerful than normal Yellow Lums.

Red Lums: Packed with vital energy, they restore Rayman's Life Bar.

Purple Lums: By shooting them, Rayman can grab onto them and swing from one to another, thereby crossing vast areas without touching the ground.

Blue Lums: Oxygen rich, they restore Rayman's Air Gauge when he's moving under water.

Green Lums: These lums are very special. They record Rayman's progress. If he should die, he will appear at the place where he last took a Green Lums.

Silver Lums: The Silver Lums are fashioned by Fairies. They give new and amazing powers to Rayman…

Super Red Lum: A Super Red Lum is a special type of Lum which appears in the Game Boy Color version of Rayman 2. Upon collecting, it gives Rayman an additional chance to restart from the most recent checkpoint, should he die.

Super Blue Lums: Are a type of Lum found exclusively in the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman 3. Essentially they are oversized versions of Blue Lums, which in this game give Rayman a temporary Super Helicopter ability. Unlike a regular Blue Lum, this enhanced type allows Rayman to fly for the whole level with no time limit.

Light blue Lums: Are a type of Lum which appear in the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman 3 in the multiplayer mode Bumper Race. In this mode the Lums can be found in rows of three on the race track. Once a player collects three of this Lums, they get a boost that lasts for a few seconds. In total, nine light blue Lums can be found on the track, though they keep respawning some time after being collected.

White Lum: A checkpoint; serves the same function as a Green Lum.

Lum (Hall of Doors): A simple orb of light which acts as a cursor for navigating the Hall of Doors in Rayman 2.

Lums (Rayman M): Are a type of collectible item found in Rayman M. The Lums found in this game are quite different from the Lums found in other games; these ones appear as small, glowing crystals rather than winged, hovering orbs of light. These Lums appear only in Lum Spring mode, in which the player wins by racing against their human or AI opponents to collect a certain pre-set number of Lums.

Lum (Rayman Kart): These resemble piles of gold coins; there are roughly two million of them.

Lum (UbiArt games): These Lums exist outside the colour system of the other games, where they serve mainly as a currency and power source; if they are red or purple, they are worth double.

Lum King: An oversized Lum found in Rayman Origins; when collected, it causes nearby Lums to turn red, temporarily increasing their value.

Rayman 1 Power-Ups

Tings

Small blue bubbles, used either to pay the Magician to enter a bonus stage, or to gain an extra life when a certain amount is collected (100 in most versions).

Powers

Comes in either a small red atom with a P on the front, or a large red one - the former gives Rayman one or two units of health, while the latter replenishes his entire health.

Speed Fist

Allows Rayman's fist to fly faster and farther than normal. Picking up a second speed fist will further increase the speed and range. Losing a life will make it drop by one level.

Golden Fist

Allows Rayman's fist to be twice as strong.

Life

Gives Rayman an extra life, as well as restoring his entire health.

Flying Blue Elf

Flying Blue Elves, also known as Reducers, are small creatures found in the original Rayman game and Rayman Designer. In the original game, they only appear in Band Land and Picture City, while in Rayman Designer they can be used in all worlds. They are also notably absent in the Atari Jaguar version of the game, where puzzles involving them have been tweaked to compensate.

Double Power

Double Powers, also known as Powers 2, are power-ups in the original Rayman game, Rayman Junior and Rayman Designer, looking like small red bouncing balls with a white letter P on them, around which two health points gravitate. They restore Rayman's health by two points.

Big Power

Big Powers, also known as Super Powers, are power-ups in the original Rayman game, Rayman Junior and Rayman Designer, looking like red balls with the white letter P on them. They restore Rayman's health completely, and increase his health bar to 5 points. If Rayman loses a life, the effect is cancelled.

There is a similar pickup called Simple Power, which restores Rayman's health by one point, and another type called Double Power, which restores his health by two points.

Frying pan

In Picture City, they are used by space pirates as aerial means of locomotion. Another one is found in Candy Château, and is used by Rayman to slide on whipped cream.

Power Fist

“Having the Power Fist makes Rayman's shots more powerful. Caution: if Rayman dies or gets hit, he loses part of the energy in his Power Fist. After three such losses, his shots go back to normal power.”

—Manual, Rayman 2

Power Fists are power-ups in Rayman 2 which look like glowing yellow fists. They make Rayman's magic fist much stronger, so that he can get rid of his enemies more easily. With a Power Fist, his magic fist is three times as strong as a regular one, and a fully loaded magic fist will make it six times as strong.

Upon collecting a Power Fist, three icons appear below Rayman's life bar. Every time he dies or takes damage, an icon is lost, and the effect of the power-up disappears when they are all gone.

Power Fists can be found in the Sanctuary of Stone and Fire, the Top of the World, the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava and the Iron Mountains. They can also be won in the Walk of Power and other bonus levels. Power Fists are absent from the PlayStation version of the game and from Rayman 2 Forever.

Shell

Built by the pirates, these are mule headed missiles which can only be subdued by extreme patience. Most have legs, some can fly.

—Manual, Rayman 2

A shell (also known as a Walking Bullet or a Walking Missil) is a highly-explosive, rocket-shaped, animalistic robot found in Rayman 2 and its remakes, as well as the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman 3. They were built by the Robo-Pirates, and are used by them to guard passages. They chase Rayman if he comes within their line of sight. If Rayman manages to avoid touching them for long enough as they chase him, they become tired and Rayman can jump on their backs and ride them. This can be done easily if they are already asleep, in which case it is unnecessary to tame them. If they hit Rayman, or any other object or creature, they will explode, which can cause the player some health loss. There are three makes of shell: the flying shells, the walking shells, and the red shells. All three types can be avoided or punched to delay or stop them in their tracks.

A walking shell is the most common variety of shell, and is found in various levels in Rayman 2 and the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman 3. They are small, yellow, explosive, rocket-like, two-legged robots used by the Robo-Pirate army to guard passages. They share some behavioural traits with both dogs and horses. They chase Rayman if he passes into their line of sight, but, unlike red shells, he can tame them by running from them until they grow tired. Rayman can jump onto the backs of tired walking shells and ride them to overcome otherwise impassable obstacles. In some locations, Rayman encounters shells that are already tired or sleeping; these do not need to be tamed, and can be ridden immediately.

Flying shells are missiles in Rayman 2 which, unlike normal shells, can fly in the air. They do not need to be tamed and seem to show a certain liking towards Rayman, as can be seen in the final battle where one comes up and helps him fight the Grolgoth. When on a flying shell, Rayman can turn freely in any direction, and can stabilize the shell by holding the strafing button. This does however not work on the Nintendo 3DS version. Flying shells are usually grey in color, but some of them appear to be yellow, just like walking shells.

Red shells are a variety of shell found in the Precipice in Rayman 2 and its remakes, as well as in Vertigo Wastes in the Game Boy Advance and N-GAGE versions of Rayman 3. Unlike regular walking shells, these ones cannot be tamed and ridden, and are always hostile towards Rayman.

Yellow mushroom

A yellow mushroom is a fungus from a specific kind inside the mushroom species. It only exists in Rayman Revolution in a hidden area of the Fairy Glade, after performing a Rain Dance in a specific zone. This yellow mushroom shows up the words "Eat Me!" above, and when Rayman eats it, he shrinks, just like the effect of the Flying Blue Elf in the original Rayman game. By eating one yellow mushroom again, Rayman returns to his original size. This kind of ability exists as a power in Rayman Origins, after saving the Gourmand Land nymph, Edith Up.

Lums Radar

The Lums Radar is a device which Rayman can use to find nearby Yellow Lums. It appears only in Rayman Revolution.

A creation of the Robo-Pirates, this horseshoe-magnet-like tool was stored in a back room in the Tomb of the Ancients, near the Technical Check-up where Clark was imprisoned. Once Rayman defeats Clark (who was being controlled by the Spyglass Pirate), Clark tells Rayman to investigate the back room, where he finds the Lums Radar in a chest, together with the 1000th Yellow Lum.

Rain Mask

It is given to Rayman by a baby Globox instead of the fourth and final mask of Polokus in the Pirate Mines, and in his possession he can cast the same rain spell as the Globox family, which is useful for short-circuiting laser fences and growing plants, therefore giving him access to areas he couldn't access during his first visits to certain areas. At one point, Rayman can't continue on to the Echoing Caves until he has the Rain Mask to deactivate the lasers that are blocking the entrance.

Elixir of Life

When Rayman finds Clark in the Menhir Hills, it is mandatory to go back to the Marshes of Awakening and find the cave, because Clark is found seriously ill and the Elixir is the only way he can recover.

Jano, the Guardian of the Cave of Bad Dreams, has the Elixir, and gives it to Rayman when he chooses not to take any of the treasure that he finds at the end of that level, rewarding his selflessness. It is a green liquid that is stored in a skull which Jano carries on the top of his staff.

Four Masks of Polokus

To be warned of any problems that might occur, Polokus sent magic masks to the four corners of the world. Before leaving, he explained to the fairies that reuniting all four masks would be all it would take to bring him back. Since he didn't want to be called back by just anybody, Polokus created fierce Guardians to protect the masks, giving them all hidden weaknesses that only a true warrior could discover and use...

—The Knowledge of the World, Rayman 2

The Four Masks of Polokus are a group of magical masks that appear in Rayman 2. Long ago, the god Polokus left the Glade of Dreams, but first he created the four masks and hid them away in secret Sanctuaries. When Rayman rescues Ly the Fairy near the beginning of the game, she relates the story of the Polokus, telling him that he must retrieve the four masks if they are to have any hope of defeating the Robo-Pirate army. Each Sanctuary is protected by a Guardian, who was instructed by Polokus to ward off any intruders that attempt to steal them. The fourth mask is not protected by a Guardian in most versions, and is instead found by a helpful baby Globox in the Iron Mountains. The Guardians were omitted in Rayman 2 Forever, the Game Boy Color version.

Each of the Four Masks of Polokus is contained within a four-sided pillar at the end of its Sanctuary; each side of these pillars is decorated by the same ‘O’-shaped symbol found on Rayman's chest. When Rayman approaches these pillars, a beam of energy connects his symbol with one of the ones on the pillar, causing the pillar to open, and the Mask to rise out of it for Rayman to collect. When Rayman takes hold of one of the Masks, he is teleported to Polokus, who takes the Mask from him and affixes it to one of the four sides of the pillar he is standing on (this pillar looks the same as the ones the Masks are found in). When all four Masks are attached to Polokus' pillar, the pillar spins rapidly, transforming into a gas-like substance. When Rayman steps into this at Polokus' instruction, he is transported to the Prison Ship. Then, the pillar resolidifies under the newly-awakened Polokus, but the Four Masks are nowhere to be seen.

Cans

Rayman can't actually pick up Superpower Cans, but he can touch them to gain an ability. Almost all the Cans remain even after Rayman touches them, in case he needs to recharge himself again.

Red Can: Metal Punch

The Heavy Metal Fist gives Rayman the power to blast Hoodlum barricades into rubble. And in combat, Rayman can use it to serve up a spiky knuckle sandwich to enemies.

Blue Can: Lockjaw Punch

Way more than just a grappling hook, the LockJaw is a razor- toothed chomper that can latch onto enemies and deliver a nasty bite. This Super power lasts for a long period of time.

Green Can: Vortex Punch

Vortex Punches can twist screw platforms downwards, allowing Rayman to step onto them. Notice how platforms that have been twisted will remain twisted. This Superpower lasts for a moderate period of time.

Orange Can: Shock Rocket

The Shock Rocket packs a serious wallop and can be guided around corners to destroy stuff – perfect for hitting hard-to-reach levers, buttons, and unsuspecting Hoodlums.

Yellow Can: Throttle Copter

Fire up the Throttle Copter and warp away into the unknown reaches of Rayman’s world. They are invaluable when he needs to reach high ledges. This Superpower lasts for a very short period of time.

The Manual

The Manual makes its first appearance at the beginning of the second phase of the Fairy Council, the first of nine levels in Rayman 3. It is in the possession of Rayman's coach, the greenbottle Murfy, who reads out general information the Manual has on the game's basics. Murfy notices that most of the Manual's advice is extremely obvious (e.g. ‘Push the jump button to jump.’), and makes sarcastic remarks about some of its advice (e.g. ‘Someone gets paid to write this junk?’).

Eventually the Manual grows angry at Murfy's rudeness and disobedience and begins to speak itself, via subtitles. It threatens to fire Murfy from the game if he does not follow the ‘script’. The Manual does not appear after the Fairy Council, as its only purpose is to assist Murfy in providing instructions to Rayman during the game's early sections.

Funkyboard

The Funkyboard is what appears to be a surfboard that Rayman only uses in Rayman 3. He uses it to transport through the Teensie Highways as a skateboard and in the final part of the Summit Beyond the Clouds, as a snowboard.

Rayman M Weapons

These are the weapons present in the fighting stages of the game. In Lum Fight mode, they are taken from generators that are randomly scattered around the arena. In Lum Spring and Capture the Fly modes, there is only one weapon that is present, and is given to the player at the beginning of the match. This is the ice bullet for Lum Spring and the rubber bullet for Capture the Fly.

Fake generator: It looks like a normal generator that gives the player a weapon, but is in fact a bomb that has been placed down by another player. It explodes on contact (or just after a character passes) and it inflicts 3 hit points.

Item leech: When activated, it steals a random other players' weapon. if no other player is carrying something, it will steal one from a generator.

Buzz rocket: When activated, the player will stop moving their main character (making them vulnerable to attacks) and he or she will instead be in control of a small, highly sensitive flying weapon, the buzz rocket. It inflicts 5 hit points on impact on another player, killing them instantly. The player can only use it once.

Ultimate barrier: An indestructible force field that cocoons the player for a few seconds. It also effectively inflicts 1 hit point of damage if it comes in contact with another player.

Glue bomb: When activated, it sticks to a character by contact, spinning around that character (until passed on to another) then explodes after a few seconds. Inflicts 3 hit points of damage. Looks very similar to the helicopter bomb from Rayman 2.

Rapid bullets: Shoots a row of 3 bullets per round, making 9 bullets in total. Each bullet inflicts 1 hit point.

Rubber bullet: Can almost always make a direct hit. Can bounce of walls and objects (up to 3 bounces). Each bullet inflicts 1 hit point. In Capture the Fly mode, the player get 5 bullets. It just steals the fly from the carrier and ammo refills over time.

Hound bullet: Automatically chases the nearest opponent. Each hound bullet inflicts 1 hit point.

Firework bullet: Is pointless unless a player is nearby, or he or she locks onto another player. A green firework bullet detonates on impact. Inflicts 1 hit point on anyone within explosion range.

no image guys…

Flametounge bullet: A flame which its direction can be controlled for a few seconds, then remaining active for a few more, engulfing anyone who unfortunately goes into it. Inflicts 1 hit point.

Ice bullet: Only available in Lum Spring mode. It freezes the targeted character for 1 second. The ammo refills over time.

Rayman Origins and Legends Power-Ups

Funnel: Funnels are creatures who inhabit the Gourmand Land in Rayman Origins. When the heroes free Edith Up, she grants them the ability to change size. However, to use this ability the heroes require the help of funnels or funnel-shaped tunnels. If characters jump into a funnel's mouth, they will be quickly pushed by the funnel's airstreams and shot into the air with a different size.

Hearts: Are items found in the Game Boy Color version of Rayman, Rayman Origins, Rayman Jungle Run, Rayman Legends and Rayman Fiesta Run. They heal Rayman and represent his life points in the Game Boy Color game, while in the others, they are used to protect the players from damage inflicted by enemies and other dangerous obstacles.

While the heroes normally take only one hit to be bubblized, the protection of the heart grants them a second opportunity to survive, instead of having to return to the last checkpoint. The only case this does not apply is if the hero falls down a pit.

Blue Punch: Rayman Origins. Players can acquire it only in the second phase of the game, when Helena Handbasket tells the heroes to go and find the four Kings of the Glade of Dreams. The Blue Punch power-up can usually be found inside a well-hidden bubble. Collecting it gives the player a set of seven blue boxing gloves (each of which has a face that highly resembles that of a Lum). These boxing gloves can be thrown by pressing the attack button. They move linearly, instantly destroying every enemy it touches on its path. The Blue Punch is considerably more powerful than a regular attack, as it can defeat enemies that are usually indestructible, like robots. When all seven of the boxing gloves are used, the player character returns to their regular attack pattern; however, if they get hurt by an enemy before using up all of the gloves, they instantly lose them all.

Origin Axe

The Axe is a large cleaver with a long handle and heavy blade head. A two-handed weapon, Axe wielders will swing with all their might to thrash and slice any opponents in their way.

Rabbid Boppers

The Gauntlets are a set of large fighting gloves. Their size allows for enhanced hand combat, and are well known for their ability to beat up and lob around opponents.

                                                Brawlhalla Items

Normal Gadgets

Bouncy Bomb: The Bouncy Bomb can be thrown to opponents, if it changes to color red is a sign that will explode (can bounce with any wall that it collides).

Pressure Mine: The Pressure Mine is another explosive, the mechanic of the Pressure Mine is stick to the opponent and explode when the user wants, also can stick to walls and to the floor but if the enemy does not touch the Pressure Mine for 8 seconds, it will disappear.

Spike Ball: The Spike Ball is meant to knock around your opponents, if the Spike Ball hits an enemy it will damage him and will knock him a little bit.

Sidekick Summoner: When the user uses the Sidekick Summoner will summon a Sidekick that will rush into the opponent, it will hold a weapon and can be dropped when the gadget is done.

Homing Boomerang: When thrown, the boomerang will travel forward (can make more damage if you charge your attack), then return to the player at high speed.

Sticky Bomb: It acts similar to a regular bomb, but it sticks to the opponent by hit or thrown, the initial thrown with stun the opponent that it hits.

                                             Other Gadgets

Snowball: If you hit the enemy with the snowball, it will do massive damage, and other snowballs will appear in your hand.

Chair: This chair can't be thrown, but if you hit the opponent with it, you can stun them.

Oddball: The Oddball, when grabbed, reduces speed in every way. It makes you slower, heavier, and has less acceleration.

Table: This table can hurt people if someone is knocked into it, this will break the table into two pieces (which can be thrown to enemies).

Star

In the Game Boy Advance version, stars have a similar purpose to the flying blue elves and the yellow mushrooms, which is to change Rayman's size.

In the mobile phone version, stars are collectible items that give Rayman an extra life when he collects 100 of them, a concept similar to the way Tings work in the original Rayman game.

Pepperpaste

It can be found in tubes in Gourmand Land. When the player stands on pepperpaste tubes, they project a stream of fire which can notably be used to boil water in kettles, propelling the lid in the air and thus allowing the player to reach high, otherwise inaccessible places. Baby Dragon Chefs also use pepperpaste as a weapon against the player.

Phials

A phial can be easily broken by a hero with one single hit; these items contain magic creatured inside, more essentially, hearts and Platformmen (the last ones only available at the Jibberish Jungle), which can help the players during their journey. Flying phials, unlike regular phials, bear a pair of pink bat-like wings, and can be seen floating statically in the air; however, their resistance and effect is the same. Phials highly resemble the Musician's super helicopter potion from the original Rayman game. Flying phials also appear during mosquito sequences and can be broken just by touching them; they can also bring the heart (or the respective 5 Lums) when shot from the distance

Soccer Ball

It is used in the soccer-based (or football in some countries) game Kung Foot, and in various levels particularly in secret areas to break open an inaccessible Teensie cage.

Rayman Fiesta Fun Power-Ups

Artifacts are power-ups that can be purchased individually in levels or permanently in the store, either for Lums or real money. The following artifacts are available in the store

Multi-gadgets Pack: Includes all the gadgets in one.

Magnet: The magnet attracts Lums around the character being played, increasing their range to collect them.

Phoenix: Alerts you when you cross a checkpoint in the middle of the stage where you would restart from the last part in which you lost.

Golden Heart: Protects the player from two hits.

Beastly Flying Fist: Gives the hero unlimited and stronger hits.

Too Much Help: Shows how to complete the level with all the Lums.

Plunger

Plungers first appear in Rayman Raving Rabbids. Each day in the Rabbids' Colosseum, a plunger appears stuck from above. In order to get it, Rayman must complete the boss minigames where he uses a plunger gun to defeat an army of Rabbids who also use the guns of their own. When Rayman wins each boss minigame, he is given the plunger as a reward which he soon figures out he can use to build a ladder up upon the wall of his cell and escape. He needs 15 of them to reach the window.

Costumes

In Rayman Raving Rabbids and its DS version, Rayman gets different costumes that give him new powers.

Mario Costume

Kirby Bros…

Electoons

The irrepressibly happy Electoons are the stuff of the Maker's dreams and contained in all of Bubble Dreamer's Creation.

As the bad dreams worsen, more and more Electoons become imprisoned by bombastic Hunters, who pepper the bucolic Glade with their belligerently live ammunition, and their terrifyingly ridiculous lackeys, the Lividstones. As a result, the very fabric of the Glade of Dreams begins to unravel, and the connections that the Electoons once formed between the lands start to to dissolve.

—Manual, Rayman Origins

Electoons are composed of magical energy; together, hundreds of them revolve around the Great Protoon. The Electoons and the Great Protoon appear to balance and stabilize each other. Physically the Electoons resemble small pink balls with large eyes, blue shoes and blonde ponytails. When Mr Dark steals the Great Protoon at the very beginning of the game, the Electoons lose their natural stability and are scattered all over the valley. They are then captured and imprisoned in cages by Mr Dark's minions. More detail is given in the Game Boy Color version, which explains that Mr Dark captured the Electoons in order to steal their energy and use it for himself.

The Electoons return in Rayman Origins. In this game, Electoons not only are the creatures that connect the different areas within the Glade of Dreams, but also are the stuff of dreams, the only magical source able to keep Polokus in peace and serenity, stopping him from creating nightmares.

After Rayman, Globox, Polokus and some Teensies wake an old Granny with their obnoxious snoring, they get captured as well as some Electoons. With Polokus turning out of his mind, Rayman and his friends venture in the search for Electoons. In-game, there are cages in secret areas and at the end of each level. Some of the secret areas can be easily found if the player listens to the Electoons' constant cries for help. The player can also free more Electoons by collecting a certain amount of Lums and giving them to the Magician. Collecting enough Electoons will unlock new characters back at the Snoring Tree and give access to both boss battles and Tricky Treasure levels.

Plunger Guard

The Plunger Guard is a technique used by Rayman in Rayman in the Phantom Show, the third DLC of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. It allows him to spawn two plum-shaped weapons which open in the middle, revealing a plunger gun inside.

Rayman can either leave the Plunger Guards where they are, or grab them and throw them in a different spot. Other heroes can move them too.

When an enemy moves within its range, the Plunger Guard fires two or three plungers at them, depending on its upgrade level. Plunger Guards disappear from the battlefield after firing, or if newer Guards are summoned, as there can only be a maximum of five active ones.

Two upgrades are available for the Plunger Guard in Rayman's skill tree. The first one increases the Guard's range by 3 meters, from 7 to 10, and lowers the technique's cooldown by one turn, allowing it to be used every two turns instead of three. The second upgrade increases the number of projectiles fired by the Guard from two to three.

When Rayman is wearing the Vortex or Rocket costume, the Plunger Guard is replaced by the Vortex Guard and the Rocket Guard, respectively. The costumes provide the Guards with special effects: while the Vortex Guard causes enemies to bounce when hit, inflicting additional damage from the bounces, the Rocket Guard causes an explosion, damaging all enemies in its area of effect. Unlike the regular Plunger Guard, which fires all of its two to three projectiles at once, both the Vortex Guard and the Rocket Guard fire their two charges one at a time. Specific upgrades are also available for those two techniques: while the Vortex Guard can be enhanced to bounce enemies in the direction of other Guards, the Rocket Guard can be improved to summon three Guards instead of two.

Blaster

The Blaster is Rayman's primary weapon in Rayman in the Phantom Show, the third DLC of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. It draws inspiration from the plunger guns first introduced in Rayman Raving Rabbids, and its design is inspired by mosquitoes, a species of giant flying insects encountered frequently throughout the Rayman series.

In battle, the Blaster is a weapon which fires a single projectile—a plunger—at an enemy. When the target is hit, it has a chance of stealing coins from it.

An upgrade is available for the Blaster in Rayman's skill tree, giving the weapon a 30% chance of stealing a random item from an enemy when successfully hit.

When Rayman is wearing the Vortex or Rocket costume, the Blaster is replaced by the Vortex Blaster and the Rocket Blaster, respectively. While both weapons deal less base damage than their regular counterpart, they come with special effects: the Vortex Blaster makes enemies bounce when hit, inflicting more bounces the closer Rayman is to his target, and the Rocket Blaster hits all enemies within its area of effect, and not the main target only, with a bigger explosion the farther Rayman is from his target. Specific upgrades are also available for those two weapons: while the Vortex Blaster can be enhanced to inflict more bounces and increase the damage to impact, the Rocket Blaster can be improved to inflict additional damage for each enemy within the range of the explosion.

Guns!?

Yes... we'll use this

In the final chapter of Captain Laserhawk, Rayman changes his identity to Ramon, and to put an end to Eiden's lies, he decided to kill Eden's executives, stopping Bullfrog's execution in public.

In commercials, we also saw Rayman using real weapons... seriously Ubisoft, what is wrong with you.

Other Items

Crash Bandicoot

Wumpa Fruit

Wumpa fruits are the most popular and iconic collectible in the franchise, these are Crash's favorite and main food, as well as the original and apparently exclusive fruits of the islands... Wumpa. In addition to serving as a delicious food recipe, the Wumpa fruits have different characteristics such as:

In the early games, Wumpa fruits give you the ability to give you a rare life in exchange for collecting 100 of these, in future installments, their use would change depending on how Crash needed to use them.

the Wumpa fruits allow Crash to recover a portion of his life, as well as being able to make Crash's spin throw them, causing them to damage nearby enemies.

In Crash Bandicoot Purple: Riptos Rampage, Wumpa fruits can be used to trade cards with the different vendors in the levels .

In the racing games, Wumpa fruits increase the speed of Crash's Kart, in addition to upgrading the Crates items, putting them in the "Juiced Up" state and giving different upgrades to each one.

Wumpa fruits seem to be incredibly tough, with Crash being able to throw it to damage an N Gin machine in Crash 2.

Crates

“It's all about the crates! Smash the boxes open to get at all the secret goodness inside, like Wumpa Fruit or 1-Ups. But not all crates are nicey nicey, so be careful!”

-Manual

Are items that are in the Crash Bandicoot series that supply Wumpa Fruit, special abilities, extra lives, special equipment, or are just placed as a trap for Crash. Crates have appeared in every Crash Bandicoot game up to date.

! Crates: When struck, typically turn outline crates into other types of crates. Often, they form new iron crates, creating a bridge that allows the player to cross gaps, and/or regular crates containing Wumpa Fruit. They are indestructible

? Crates: Type of crate in the Crash Bandicoot series, usually containing big amounts of Wumpa Fruit. Certain ? crates are programmed so that if the player dies many times in a certain segment of the level, it will turn into a checkpoint crate or mask crate which will stay there forever if the game is saved. They appear in racing games holding items rather than Wumpa, and in Crash Bash as purple holding special items in particular minigames. In Crash of the Titans for the Nintendo DS, they appear in large and small sizes. The larger crates can only be broken by using jacked titans.

Activation Crate: Crate used to set traps, such as trap doors, obstacles, and magnets.

Aku Aku Crate: when broken, releases Aku Aku, a magical witch doctor mask who aids Crash and friends in one of two ways. In most instances, the Aku Aku mask released can have a layering effect of benefits, meaning the more Aku Aku crates are broken, the more powerful and beneficial Aku Aku becomes.

When a third crate is broken whilst having the gold Aku Aku, Aku Aku will attach himself to the player's face, allowing them to become invincible for a short amount of time.

There are certain obstacles in some games that act differently when the player has Aku Aku invincibility. For example, in the Egyptian levels in Crash Bandicoot: Warped, the doors that normally open and close based on a timer will remain open when the player has Aku Aku invincibility.

Arrow Crate: Act as trampolines for the Crash Bandicoot series and are used to reach higher places. They are very common and appear in most of the Crash Bandicoot games. These crates often carry one Wumpa Fruit and are broken by all methods of attacking except for jumping.

Basic Crate: type of crate seen throughout the Crash Bandicoot series. These crates usually contain one or a few Wumpa Fruit, depending on the game. Any attack can break them.

In Crash Tag Team Racing, they are seen containing Wumpa Coins. They often appear in stacks in this game. In Crash of the Titans and Crash: Mind Over Mutant, they contain mojo instead, and come in varying sizes; Crash can break small crates on his own, but a titan is needed for larger ones.

Beenox Crate: One is hidden in each of the game's 39 tracks  and breaking all of them will unlock the Iron Checkpoint Crate as a playable racer. Once a Beenox crate is broken, the game saves, so the player does not need to finish the race to be credited with breaking the crate.

Big TNT Crate: The Big TNT explodes with a larger radius than the normal TNT and, instead of counting down from 3, it starts to flash faster over time, exploding after a while.

In Crash Bandicoot, the Big TNT cannot be spun once active, and will not bounce Crash back if he jumps on it to activate it.

Block:  These crates can be kicked and thrown but cause less damage than TNT crates and nitro crates. After hitting a target, it breaks. In Drain Bash, the last Crate Crush level, blocks are replaced with locked crates.

Bounce Crate: Bounce Crates are a type of crate that give Crash ten Wumpa Fruit (or 8 depending on luck in the first game), and award less than ten Wumpa Fruit in the racing games.

In Crash Bandicoot: Warped, body slamming on the crate will cause the crate to break and Crash will be awarded with two Wumpa Fruit. In later games, no fruit will be awarded when the crate is body slammed. Jumping and body slamming are the only methods of attack that can give the player fruit.

Checkpoint Crate:  Type of crate acting as a save point for the player. When the player loses a life, they will respawn at the last checkpoint crate they broke.

They can also be hidden as ? crates and will only turn into a checkpoint after 12 deaths near them. In Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time, checkpoint crates also release ten Wumpa Fruit when broken.

Crash Crate: When the player character dies, any Life Crates broken before reaching the next checkpoint come back as ? Crates. This lasts until the player exits or restarts the level. Life Crates in bonus rounds and flashback tapes are an exception to this rule, as they never change into ? Crates.

Life Crates also appear in Skylanders: Imaginators, occasionally summoned through Crash's tertiary attack, Crate Going. They grant him an extra life, a mechanic unique to Crash in that game.

Copter Crate: Supply Crash with his Heli-Pack. Similar to the Magic Carpet Crate, the copter crate has the heli-pack in it within a pink background.

Detonator Cate: When the crate is spun or jumped on, it blows up nearby explosive crates. If spun, the handle will spin around and until it hits the bottom. Jumping on the detonator is a quicker method of blowing up the nearby explosives.

Feather Crate: Add a feather to Crash's protection against loss of health, similarly to Aku Aku Crates.

Flamethrower Crate: Basic crate which has a flamethrower on all sides. These flamethrowers turn on and off at consistent intervals. They can be broken as long as they aren't shooting fire, getting close to the crate while it's firing will hurt the player character. These crates provide a constant 10 Wumpa Fruit when broken

Freeze Crate: Breaking a freeze crate temporarily freezes enemies, giving Crash a chance to attack them.  However, enemies are still hazardous even when frozen. The effect of the freeze crate lasts for five seconds.

Giant Crate: These crates generally contain Mojo, Wumpa Fruit, Aku Aku Feathers, or Tiki Masks and can only be destroyed when using a Titan.

Invisibility Crate:  The crate enables Crash to turn invisible for a few seconds aiding him in getting through obstacles such as lasers.

Iron Arrow Crate: Functions identically to the regular arrow crate: it gives the player a boosted jump to top cliffs or reach crates and other prizes otherwise inaccessible. Like all iron crates, the iron arrow crate cannot be broken.

Iron Checkpoint Crate: Serves to provide the player a second chance on a gem path, death route, or other secret area, without forcing the player to obtain all of the crates on both the alternate path and standard level.

When this crate is used, it reverts to a standard iron crate, whereas a used checkpoint crate will remain unfolded on the ground where it was struck. This allows the iron checkpoint crate to still be used as a platform, something the standard checkpoint crate lacks.

Iron Crate: indestructible type of crate. They are often used to form bridges or platforms for Crash Bandicoot to cross. They can be dangerous if bouncing on top of iron arrow crates, as Crash will be crushed if he is standing beneath one. Activatable iron crates, such as the ! crate, will turn into one once hit, as will Slot crates if they are not broken in time.

No image sorry guys :(

Infinity Crate:  It is a violet-colored crate that spews out an infinite amount of wumpa fruit. It is somewhat transparent when seen spewing out wumpa fruit and the direction of its contents is random.

Locked Crate: Crate with special protection that can only be broken by belly flopping. In the Crash Bandicoot games for the Game Boy Advance, they are also broken by explosive crates, and are also completely empty.

In Crash Bash, they are found only in the Drain Bash mini-game, where they replace blocks and deal less damage.

Magic Carpet Crate: Give Crash a magical floating carpet. When using this item, Crash is always moving to the right and wears a turban. He has the ability to shoot energy spheres at enemies when using this item.

Multiplier Crate:  Crate that appears in the game Crash Nitro Kart. When broken, they give the player three power-ups instead of just one. They are more common in boss races; in normal races, they usually only appear once in an out-of-the-way place, just as they do in battle arenas.

Nitro Bounce Crate: They are similar to Iron Arrow Crate in that jumping on them causes Crash to bounce high into the air, and that they cannot be destroyed through normal means.

However, a Nitro Bounce Crate can only be used a limited number of times before it transforms into a Nitro Crate. This number can be anywhere from one to three uses, which is indicated by a counter on the crate itself. The counter decreases by one every time it's either jumped on or hit from the bottom.

Nitro Crate: The most dangerous crates in the Crash series, they should not be touched under most conditions unless supplied with invincibility.

If Crash touches them, they will explode and he will lose a mask or a life if he has no masks left. If Crash does lose a life in Cortex Strikes Back or Warped, he will die and become an angel playing the didgeridoo. However, while traveling underground beneath the crates, Crash will be killed and a grave will pop up.

Nitro Switch Crate: Type of crate that appear as green-colored ! crates. When attacked, they cause all remaining nitro crates in the level to explode

Outline Crate: rates that appear only as semi-transparent ghostly outlines until they are activated by an ! crate. Outline crates are intangible but may still be affected by crate physics and can interact with other crates. The actual content of a ghost crate is unknown until it is activated, upon which it can turn into a set crate of any variety. Since a single ! crates can activate multiple ghost crates, outline crates may be activated in a certain order.

Pants Crate: The Pants Crate's function is purely aesthetic, it changes the color of Crash's pants from his default blue to the color depicted on the crate, which can be either red, green, yellow, white, orange, purple or black. Along with the change, a wolf-whistle will be heard in the background as well.

Purple ? Crate: Special types of crates that appear in Crash Bash. Purple ? Crates appear in Drain Bash, Ring Ding, and Mallet Mash. In Drain Bash, they must be kicked or thrown to release their contents, in which case either a Wumpa fruit or a weapon will appear.

These weapons are the homing energy orbs, eight way missiles, or sonic rings. In Ring Ding, they contain either hover boots or the vacuum cleaner. In Mallet Mash, they contain either speedy boots or a shock wave.

Purple ! Crate: Crates are another type of crate exclusive to Crash Bash. It appears in all of the Pogo Pandemonium levels except for Pogo-a-Gogo. After landing on this crate, all of the player's squares will turn into points.

Slot  Crate:  The inside contents of this crate constantly change faster and faster. When breaking it, the crate will give a prize depending on the image on the box. It can give Crash some Wumpa Fruit if it was showing an ?, an extra life if it was showing a Crash mug, an Aku Aku if it shows an Aku Aku mask, a TNT crate if it was showing the word TNT in it, or even nothing if it was showing a pale white background.

Spike Crate: Type of sentient crate exclusive to Crash: Mind Over Mutant. Though unassuming at first, when Crash approaches them, they open up to reveal sharp spikes and sinister faces. The spikes retract after two seconds.

Time Crate: They temporarily stop time depending on the number on the crate. These numbers vary from one to three, and in Crash Team Racing and Crash Nitro Kart, collecting all of them gives a perfect bonus of a ten second reduction.

TNT Crate: Explosive crate, jumping on them  starts a visible three mark countdown.

In Crash Team Racing, Crash Nitro Kart, and the Nitro-Fueled remake of Crash Team Racing, the TNT Crate appears as a Power-Up for racers. When one is hit, the driver must jump repeatedly to try and get it off their head before it explodes. If successful, the crate goes flying behind them and explodes upon hitting the floor, damaging anyone too close. If they fail, it sends the driver crashing. If the player is Juiced Up, it becomes a Nitro Crate, which explodes immediately on contact.

In Skylanders Imaginators, Crash's attacks include throwing TNT crates and spinning them into foes.

World  Crate: Type of crate that act as save points and are only in Crash Twinsanity. They act similarly to checkpoint crates and are yellow with a picture of Earth on them.

No image sorry guys :C

Coin Crate:  Crates found in Crash Tag Team Racing which contain Wumpa coins. They are smaller and darker than regular crates and are also found in every world. Coin Crates are usually found in groups, and lots of them are present in the respective world's treasure room.

Power Ups

Super Body Slam: A powerful Slam that causes Crash to drop and destroys nearby craters or enemies.

Double Jump: Allows Crash to double jump in the air

Death Tornado Spin: Allows Crash to spin repeatedly for a longer time and float a little in the air.

Fruit Bazooka: Gives Crash the ability to fire a Wumpa  bazooka.

Crash Nitro Kart Weapons

Like in Crash Team Racing, players can receive Weapons by driving through a Power-up Crate, which can be Juiced Up by collecting ten Wumpa Fruit. However, the weapon roster has been altered a bit, with some weapons being replaced by new ones. Additionally, Crash Nitro Kart introduces Multiplier Crates, which will exclusively give the player three of a certain weapon, and are generally placed in hard-to-reach locations.

Ice Mine: A blue mine that can be dropped onto the track similarly to N. Brio's Beaker from CTR. It will freeze anyone upon impact, causing the victim to spin out.

When Juiced Up, the mine becomes purple. Anyone hit by the purple Ice Mine will take longer to thaw out and have reduced traction.

Can be found in threes in a Multiplier Crate.

TNT Crate: Dropped onto the track behind the user. When someone hits it, it lands on their head and starts counting down. The victim can try to shake it off by jumping repeatedly, but if they fail to do so before the end of the countdown, it will explode, knocking over anyone in the blast radius.

When Juiced Up, it becomes a Nitro Crate, which explodes immediately upon physical contact.

Can be found in threes in a Multiplier Crate.

Bowling Bomb: Thrown in a straight line either in front of or behind the user, and detonates either when it hits something, or when the player presses the "Fire" button again. Anyone caught in the blast radius will tumble and crash.

Blast radius is bigger when Juiced Up.

Can be found in threes in a Multiplier Crate.

Homing Missile: Targets the nearest opponent in front of the racer that used the item, knocking them over if it hits. If a racer is targeted, a crosshair appears on their kart.

Faster and more accurate when Juiced Up.

Can be found in threes in a Multiplier Crate.

Static Orb: A magenta, spiky sphere that emits purple electricity, which can be dropped behind the user on the track. Anyone running into it will not only spin out, but they will also be slowed down temporarily and get their weapon changed, not unlike CTR's Red Beakers.

When Juiced Up, the Static Orb will emit red electricity, causing anyone running into it to additionally get their controls reversed for a short time. It also gains the ability to home in on players within proximity.

Turbo Boost: Gives the player a quick speed boost to zip past or squash opponents.

Gives an even bigger and longer speed boost when Juiced Up.

Can be found in threes in a Multiplier Crate.

Power Shield: A green, temporary shield that prevents damage from a single weapon or obstacle (other than N. Tropy Clocks). Drivers under the shield can also touch another driver to knock them over, but can't be fired (contrary to CTR).

Becomes blue when juiced up. The blue version is not restricted by time.

Invincibility Mask: Provides temporary invulnerability and increased speed. Anyone the driver touches will be knocked over. Unlike in Crash Team Racing, the mask does not protect the driver against the N. Tropy Clock.

Players will get a different mask depending on which team their racer belongs to. Team Bandicoot gets Aku Aku, Team Cortex gets Uka Uka, and Team Trance and Team Oxide get the Velo Mask.

Lasts longer when Juiced Up.

N. Tropy Clock: Makes every kart except the user spin out and be slowed down for a few seconds, during which time they cannot collect or use weapons. Will also affect those who are using a Power Shield or Invincibility Mask.

Lasts longer when Juiced Up.

Exclusive to races.

Tornado Top: Much like the Warp Orb in Crash Team Racing, it chases down the driver in first place, making them, along with anyone else who gets in its way, tumble and crash.

When Juiced Up, it will target every driver ahead of the user one by one.

Exclusive to races.

Super Engine: Temporarily provides a constant turbo boost for as long as the driver is accelerating.

Faster and longer-lasting when Juiced Up.

Exclusive to battles.

Invisibility: Makes the user invisible to both their opponents' eyes and their Homing Missiles.

Lasts longer when Juiced Up.

Exclusive to battles.

Red Eye Missile: Transforms the user into a giant missile that they can steer towards other opponents. Explodes on impact, knocking over anyone in the blast radius.

Has better handling when Juiced Up.

Exclusive to battles.

Crash Nitro Kart 2 Power-Ups

Items can be obtained by breaking a ? Crate on the track. Items are either weapons used to hinder other players, or helpful items for the user's benefit.

Power Shield: Creates a yellow force field of electricity around the player, protecting them from other racer's weapons and some course hazards. It isn't broken by attacks, remaining until its time runs out or the racer falls into a pit. It cannot be launched and doesn't harm racers that bump into a racer using one.

Missile: When fired, the missile homes in on the racer ahead, sending them flying into the air, briefly stopping them and killing their speed on impact. When the player is holding a missile, it can be seen attached to the back of their kart. When a missile is homing in on the player, a yellow ! symbol appears on the back of their kart.

RC Car: A small remote controlled car, resembling Crash. When used it zips ahead to the person in first place and bursts their tyres, slowing them to a crawl for a few seconds. It's most similar to a Warp Orb or a Tornado Top, except for the fact it only affects the racer in first.

Kart Jacker: This item allows you to "jack" the kart of the racer immediately ahead of you. This swaps your positions on the track, swaps your kart for theirs, and even allows you to take whatever items they may have had at the time. For some reason, Aku Aku features as this item's icon.

Hourglass: Slows all other racers to a snail's pace for a few seconds, while leaving the user at the same speed. Functionally the same as an N. Tropy Clock.

Airplane Wings: Gives the user's kart wings, allowing them to fly over hazards and pits while also giving them a speed boost for the duration of the power-up. Coco's Track and Star Track feature a barrier that grants this power-up upon going through it, allowing the racers to fly over a body of water. The effect can only be ended prematurely by being hit by a missile.

Hole: Creates a perfectly round cartoon hole in the track behind the player. If a racer falls in, they must be rescued by the robotic mask. Racers with Monster Truck mode active are too big to fall into these holes.

Turbo: Gives the user a quick burst of speed. Can be picked up as a single item or in a set of 2.

Tyre Spikes: Makes large metal spikes appear, poking out on either side of the user's back wheels. If the user rams into the side of another racer with this active, it bursts their tyres, significantly slowing them down for a few seconds.

Crash Team Rumble Powers

Powers are unlockable abilities that can be used in game. One power can be chosen per match, and each has different effects. These powers charge throughout the match and can be used when their meter is full, then a cooldown period must pass before it can be used again. Some abilities can charge multiple meters, allowing the player to use multiple at a time.

Power Crystals

Power Crystals are special minerals that contain immense energy. Their exact origin is unknown, but they are usually desired for selfish purposes. When these crystals are at stake, Crash Bandicoot sets out to collect them before they fall into the wrong hands, usually as his arch-nemesis Cortex seeks them for world domination. The doctor has repeatedly tried to get all 25 Power Crystals to power up his maniacal creation, the Cortex Vortex, and enslave mankind.

Fruit Bazooka

The Fruit Bazooka is a weapon that fires Wumpa Fruit that can be obtained by beating N. Gin in Crash Bandicoot: Warped or by beating Lo-Lo and Crunch in Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex. In Warped, to use it, the player must hold down the L2 button, use the analog stick or directional buttons to aim, then press Button circle to shoot. The bazooka has unlimited ammo and doesn't deplete the player's Wumpa Fruit count, so it can be used as much as the player wishes. It should be noted that Crash (or Coco in the N. Sane Trilogy remake of Warped) cannot move when using the bazooka, so some moving enemies can harm them if not defeated quickly enough. Releasing the L2 button will put the bazooka away so they can move again.

Jet Pack

The Jet Pack is an item of transport in the Crash Bandicoot series. The jet pack first appears in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and is used in two levels: Rock It and Pack Attack. It is also used to chase Doctor Neo Cortex in his boss fight.

In the manga Crash Bandicoot: Dansu! De Jump! Na Daibouken, Jet Packs are seen in the final chapter, GO! To Outer Space on a JetPack!. Crash buys one from Penta Penguin and uses it to go to space.

Copter-Pak

Copter-Pak is a piece of equipment used in Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex and Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced. In the Wrath of Cortex, it is used to navigate the lava cave section in Fahrenheit Frenzy and to complete Ice Station Bandicoot.

In N-Tranced, Crash gets the heli-pack from copter crates in four of the volcanic levels (Magma Mania, Mister Lava Lava, Eruption Disruption and Fire Walker), but Crash starts the boss fight against Evil Coco, as well as the second phase of N. Trance's boss battle with it already equipped.

In Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage, a sprite of Crash using the copter-pak appears as a trading card.

Power Loader

The Mech was first and currently only seen in Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex. There are two types: The yellow mech is used twice and the red mech is used once. The red mech sprays water to damage Crunch and the yellow mech shoots wumpa fruit out of its arm to defeat enemies and break crates.

Atlasphere

The Atlasphere, as named in Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced, also spelled Atlas Sphere in the manual, is an object that appears in certain Crash Bandicoot games, usually to indicate a new gameplay mode. It's a ball that Crash Bandicoot, among other characters, rolls around in. It first appeared in Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex; it is used on five of the levels, and one is a boss fight level: Bamboozled, Rumble in the Roks (Boss), Eskimo Roll, Medieval Madness and Solar Bowler. It is also used in Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced by Crash and Crunch Bandicoot in three levels: Globe Trottin', Barrel Roll and Rocks Can Roll.

Scuba Suit

Asuit used by Crash in several games, one of his favorite methods of traveling underwater.

Pogo Stick

Pogo Sticks are items that appear in Crash Bash. They are used in the Pogo Pandemonium minigames: Pogo Painter, Pogo-a-Gogo, El Pogo Loco and Pogo Padlock.

Jeep

Jeeps are vehicles seen in The Wrath of Cortex and Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy. In The Wrath of Cortex, they appear in Jungle Rumble, and Smokey and the Bandicoot. The jeep's design was reused for the Crikey in Crash Tag Team Racing.

Wake Board

Wake Boards are used in Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced. When Crash is on a wake board he is chased by a shark. Crash can go off ramps on the wake board to jump over seaweed and break crates in the air.

Glider

The Glider is a vehicle from Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex. It is much like the biplane from Crash Bandicoot: Warped. It was first used in Tornado Alley to destroy the Tornado Generators and later reappeared in Atmospheric Pressure, where it was used to defeat Crunch and Lo-Lo.

Firefly Machine

The Firefly is an aerial machine that Crash used in Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex. It was first seen in the level That Sinking Feeling, where players had to destroy six ships using the machine. It gets its name from its bug-like design. It's also capable of shooting homing missiles.

Biplane

The Biplane is an aircraft that appeared in Crash Bandicoot: Warped. Coco Bandicoot owns a pink one and Crash Bandicoot owns a blue one. Coco flew hers first, trying to shoot down Neo Cortex's blimps in Bye Bye Blimps, then, Crash flew his to shoot down Cortex's airplanes in Mad Bombers. In the final level, Rings of Power, Crash flew it through rings. Crash's plane is named the Orange Baron, while Coco's is called the Flying Queen.

Jet Board

The Jet Board is a vehicle that Crash rides in Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, the N. Sane Trilogy remake of the second game, and Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. The directional buttons or analog stick are used to steer it.

Motorcycle

The motorcycle is a land vehicle first used by Crash Bandicoot in Crash Bandicoot: Warped, in which Crash would travel back to the 1950's and race against the lab assistants, who were driving hot rods. A motorcycle (referred to as a scooter) is also present as a usable item in Crash Boom Bang!, allowing the player to move 6 squares.

The motorcycle reappeared in the N. Sane Trilogy remake of the third game, reprising its original role.

Space Motorcycle

The Space Motorcycle is a vehicle which appears in Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure. It is used on the yellow gem path of Ace of Space and to escape from Cortex's Planetary Minimizer station. While on the space motorcycle, Crash can be seen wearing the same biker outfit he wore in the motorcycle levels from Crash Bandicoot: Warped.

Kart

(Crash wtf are you reading)

Karts are particular vehicles that appear in some of the racing spin-offs of the Crash Bandicoot series, with the exception of Crash Tag Team Racing, which uses cars instead of karts.

Special Karts

Special Karts are karts bodies with pre-set elements such as wheels, paint jobs and stickers, that cannot be customized. They have their own menu in the kart select screen separate from individual elements. Special Karts are only available from special editions and promotional events.

Retro Karts are low-poly models of the Classic Kart Body with the same textures as the original karts of the main roster of Crash Team Racing. Their Wheels can be equipped independently on other kart bodies, but their unique Paint Jobs cannot be used elsewhere. They are only available on the PlayStation 4 version of Nitro-Fueled and come with "Retro" skins of Crash Bandicoot, Coco Bandicoot and Doctor Neo Cortex and the Retro Stadium track.

The Firehawk kart is modeled after a classic military plane and behaves like a hover kart. It can be purchased as DLC for a limited time as part of the annual Call of Duty Endowment charity event held by Activision. It was introduced at the beginning of the Spooky Grand Prix.

The Xfinity Flash is modeled after a race car and has its own set of Legendary-tier wheels, which behaves similarly to the Neon Wheels. A code could be claimed by any Comcast Xfinity customer from February 21st, a day after the beginning of the Gasmoxia Grand Prix to March 15th, 2020. Each code can be used twice to redeem the kart, regardless of region-lock. These codes can only be redeemed up to May 31st.

Cars

Cars are the vehicles used in Crash Tag Team Racing, listed in order of character selection with 29 total being featured in the game. Cars in-race can clash and merge together as one. Each character has 3 cars, with the exception of Crash, Neo Cortex, Pasadena, Crunch, and Nina having each an extra car from the PS2 and the PSP consoles. These cars can be unlocked by linking both versions together.

The Trikee is Crash's tier 1 car. It is playable from the start in both Adventure and Multiplayer modes in any version of the game except for the PlayStation Portable version. The car is orange with three wheels, in the likeness of a trike. It can be imported into the PlayStation Portable version as an exclusive car. It returns as a kart body option in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, and re-appears as a selectable vehicle in Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 2. Its design is based on the Campagna T-Rex three-wheeled vehicle, the only one in the game. In certain game trailers, it features a different design.

Retro Prime is Crash's tier 1 car in the PlayStation Portable version of Crash Tag Team Racing, where it is available from the start of both Adventure Mode and Multiplayer Mode. It is left unnamed in the PSP version of the game, where it appears, but is called the "Six-Pipes" in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, where it appears as a kart body option. It can be imported into the PlayStation 2 version of Crash Tag Team Racing as an exclusive car. It is an orange and burgundy colored hot-rod, with a yellow wind-screen and small grill at the front. It sports a set of six exhausts at the front with three on each side above the front wheel. The wheels at the front are smaller than those at the rear, and the burgundy paint job gives the car a flame decal design.

Yellow Horde: Crash's Tier 2 car for all consoles. It can be unlocked in adventure mode by collecting all the eggs for Stew. This car is yellow with white stripes.

The Crikey is Crash's tier 3 car in Crash Tag Team Racing. It is unlocked by giving 3 crystals to Chick Gizzard Lips in the Midway. It resembles an off-road vehicle, with a spare wheel on the bonnet and a zebra-style paint job.

Race Vehicles

The Mammoth is a Kart introduced in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled as a Nitro Gauge reward and the flagship kart set of the Back N. Time Grand Prix. It is a kart built out of bones and stone, resembling a Stone Age contraption, with two mammoth tusks on its front, hence its name. It was later made available for purchase with Wumpa Coins in the Neon Circus Grand Prix.

The police car is a vehicle seen in the motorcycle levels of Crash Bandicoot: Warped and the N. Sane Trilogy remake of the third game. The police cars will drive against Crash in Area 51? as he races UFOs. In the other levels, the police cars serve as obstacles, usually standing in one of the sides of the streets, but with some going back

The Champion is a kart body option available in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. It is unlocked by finishing in the top 5% of either the Championship or Nitro online leaderboards at the end of a Grand Prix. Beginning with the Gasmoxia Grand Prix, however, Champion is now obtainable by defeating all of the Oxide Time Trial ghosts. It is a sportscar with a large wing at the back. Each Grand Prix grants a different decal.

Mecha Bandicoot

Mecha bandicoot is a large giant in the form of Crash created by Cortex to defeat him, having a chainsaw arm, being able to fire missiles and shoot energy beams from his nose.

The Size Changer

The Size Changer can drastically shrink or enlarge any object hit by its ray. After hit multiple times the victim becomes either microscopic or extremely large. The affected object can also be changed back to its original size with a change of settings. There is a dial on the side of the weapon used to set the strength of the ray.

Weight

Weights are used in Crash Bash. They appear in most Polar Push challenges as well as in Space Bash and Snow Bash. In Polar Push, they can be obtained by going into the robot's laser beam (or Uka Uka in Melt Panic). Once obtained, an alarming sound starts playing gradually getting faster and faster.

The player who has the weight must quickly pass it onto someone else by charging into another player. When the sound stops, the player with the weight is crushed and out of the game. In Polar Push minigames, the sound effect lasts for ten seconds. In Space Bash and Snow Bash, it is pretty much the same, but the sound only lasts for eight seconds.

Fireguy

The Fireguy is an item in Crash Tag Team Racing. It is a small but destructible ball of fire with two eyes and a visible mouth. Upon being thrown, it will let out a high pitch yell and target the racer in first place. When thrown, it also creates a trail of fire. It can be countered by throwing weapons such as chickens or monkey dynamite behind oneself. It can also be avoided by declashing just before the Fireguy hits.

Cannon

Cannons are a type of cannonball-shooting weapon that has been used several times as background props, weapons, and a game mechanic.

Cannons have a minor role in the game as a usable mechanic for Crash. They are used to shoot explosives to destroy spiked tikis to get gems. They shoot when Crash hops on the red button on the back of it. It can shoot the bombs in low distance by hopping on the button and long distance by Belly Flopping it.

Cow

The Cow is a weapon item in Crash Tag Team Racing. It is very powerful and once thrown, the cow will let out a loud "mooing" sound. Once hitting the ground, it will explode, leaving giant pieces of steaks airborne and a large cloud of smog present. Hitting either one of these will result in an instant KO

Dynamite Monkey

Dynamite jumpsuit is a power-up that appears in Crash Tag Team Racing. He is a dark brown monkey with a stick of dynamite strapped to his back and wearing a diaper. When thrown, the monkey will stick to the vehicle it has been thrown into and will jump continuously until it has passed another racer (which can happen if another racer hits the host with the monkey), or the monkey will explode.

Fireguy

The Fireguy is an item in Crash Tag Team Racing. It is a small but destructible ball of fire with two eyes and a visible mouth. Upon being thrown, it will let out a high pitch yell and target the racer in first place. When thrown, it also creates a trail of fire.

Chicken

The chicken is one of the unique items in Crash Tag Team Racing, functioning as a bomb object that when touched with something will explode and create a huge explosion, leaving feathers after it.

Jet Sub

Jet Subs are submarine vehicles belonging to Crash. They appear in the swimming stages of Crash Bandicoot: Warped and the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy remake of the third game, where Crash swims through the submerged city of Atlantis. They have torpedoes which can be used to shoot away dangerous sea life and reveal boxes hidden in the coral reefs. They resemble fish.

Jet Subs are similar to Aku Aku in that they can protect Crash from one attack. The subs immediately explode when Crash is hit by an enemy or hazard. Even if Crash has an Aku Aku mask as well, the subs explode on the first attack, with the Aku Aku mask remaining with Crash. The jet subs are similar to Baby T in this aspect.

Power Gems

The power gems are one of the most iconic collectibles in the entire franchise, Crash is able to collect them after destroying all the boxes in a level. They have two important appearances in the franchise, one in the "Classic" saga of the franchise and the other in Crash On The Run.

Classics:

The classic gems from almost all of the Crash franchise, are capable of amp a lightning bolt that destroyed the Cortex space station.

Crash on the Run:

In Crash on the Run, Power Gems are MUCH more important and more useful, Coco claims that they contain quantum energy, and Cortex claims that with a few Power Gems, he will be able to create a universe without Bandicoots and destroy all the rest.

Other Items

Abilities

Rayman

Regeneration

Rayman has shown an incredible Regeneration ability several times, such as coming back from being crushed, being reduced to ashes or even being completely erased from existence, and considering that Rayman's Physiology is Conceptual by default, this would grant him a High-Godly Regeneration.

Helicopter

The Helicopter, also known as Helico, HairlyCopter or Haircopter, is Rayman's signature ability. It consists of rapidly spinning the fronds of his hair, as if they were propeller blades, in order to hover and slow his descent. Rayman possesses

this power in almost every game in which he appears, and like most of his powers, he seems to gain and lose it multiple times over the course of the series.

During the course of Rayman 2: The Great Escape, Ly the fairy gave Rayman the power to fly free with his helicopter, without needing to propel himself with wind or fall.

The super helicopter power in the original Rayman game is received on four separate occasions; once in the first part of Mr Stone's Peaks, when Rayman is given the potion by the Musician, once in the second part of Mr Stone's Peaks, where Rayman is automatically given a potion upon spawning (this part is missing in the Atari Jaguar version), once in the first part of Eraser Plains, where a potion is spawned by a sparkling gendoor above the exit sign (this potion is absent in the NTSC Saturn version as well as in the PC version and its ports), and once in the second part of Pencil Pentathlon, where Rayman finds another potion at the start. It can be considered an upgrade to the helicopter power, as it allows Rayman to fly in the air with his hair. The super helicopter is also used by flying Antitoons.

Magic Fist

The magic fist is an offensive ability used by Rayman in Rayman 2, Rayman M/Arena/Rush and the Nintendo DS version of Rayman Raving Rabbids. It replaced the telescopic fist that was used in the original Rayman game, and would then be replaced in favour of the telescopic fist in Rayman 3 onwards.

A similar projectile attack would later feature as a temporary obtainable power-up in Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends, called the Blue Punch

Punches

Many of you may be wondering, "why is this even a Ability?", and the answer is simple! Rayman's punches can not only break your face making Crash sound, but he also has several, several side effects from just hitting you. It seems that losing a tooth is not the only thing that will happen to you.

Transmutation: All characters hit by Rayman are turned into stars, or can even turn ghosts into insects.

Soulfuck: Able to disintegrate souls of the dead in haunted mansions and swamps.

Existence Erasure: Can completely erase Hoodlums after hitting them.

Power Null: As if all this were not enough, Rayman is capable of nullifying resistance to his haxes, eventually affecting enemies who were previously immune to his fists. Defeated enemies are also reduced to a small size, losing their stats and powers.

Body Control

HE'S BALLIN

Several times we saw that Rayman can control his body with a freedom that will not allow him to have arms and legs, being able to use it as a basketball, something that is maintained in Brawlhalla.

Lums Phisiology

Unlike the other inhabitants of the Glade of Dreams, Rayman was not dreamed by Polokus. Rayman was created by the nymphs as a hero to protect the Glade of Dreams, making his body with the Conceptual light of the Lums, which makes Rayman have several abilities of his own Physiology.

Subjective Reality: The lums created Polokus simply by thinking, and gave him the ability to make his dreams come true.

Conceptual Manipulation and Abstract Existence: The Lums are a fundamental component in the existence of Rayman's universe, they shape all existence at a fundamental level and Rayman's universe is abstract, existing as metaphysics and imagination of Polokus, who created all concepts that exist such as time and existence itself.

•  Omnipresence: Everything that exists in the universe is completely made of energy, since the universe is purely energy, everything we see around us is made up entirely of Lums.

Intangibility: Lums exist only as light and spiritual energy that makes up reality, which means that they are not tangible

Bodyshot

The Bodyshot is a permanent power exclusive to the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman 3.

It is given to Rayman by Ly the Fairy after defeating Rocky - an adversary also exclusive to this version of the game - in his den in Magmacosm. With this power, Rayman can use his body to break blockages, such as wooden floors, to progress in his adventure, and to inflict damage on certain enemies.

Magic seed

The magic seed is a temporary power in the original Rayman game and its remakes, as well as Rayman Junior and Rayman Designer, that allows Rayman to instantly grow bow-tied flowers, akin to the floating type commonly found in the Dream Forest. Rayman can then use them to reach higher ground.

Save and Load

“He is there to immortalize your feats! When you lose a life, you start again in the last place where he took a picture of you.”

Yes, this is canon!

The photographer that appears in Rayman 1 and Rayman Origins is a character that exists to save Rayman's game, something they know since they pose for his pictures every time they cross paths with him.

In Rayman 2, the green Lums exist solely to save the game, something the characters are aware of since Ly created them to help Rayman.

This makes sense since the characters have been shown to know of the player's existence many, many, many, many times! Globox and Murfy are aware that their world is just a video game and that Rayman is under the player's control, in addition, Globox even asks how many times Rayman has lost since he started the game, which supports this power.

It is worth noting that Rayman's save point does not require killing him, it will activate even if he loses without needing to die, such as being incapacitated or making a wrong decision that leads to a bad ending.

Hanging

The ability to hang onto ledges is the second power that Rayman is bestowed by Betilla the Fairy in the original Rayman game, at the end of Anguish Lagoon. This power will always be available to Rayman in the following games, like the helicopter power.

Grappling Fist

The grappling fist is the third power that Rayman is bestowed by Betilla the Fairy in the original Rayman game. It subsequently returns in several Rayman titles, while similar abilities also appear in other games.

In the original game, Rayman is given the grappling fist power at the end of Moskito's Nest. It is normally the third power he receives, however, it is possible to get the helicopter before it. It allows Rayman's fist to grab things such as extra lives and flying rings.

In Rayman 2, the telescopic fist is replaced with the magic fist, and therefore the grappling fist does not technically appear. However, Rayman is granted a similar ability by Ly the Fairy at the end of the Fairy Glade. The Silver Lum she gives him changes the color of his projectiles from white to blue, and most importantly, it lets him grab onto Purple Lums, which are used in the same way as the flying rings from the original game.

Swimming

In Rayman 2, Rayman is now able to swim underwater, but for only a limited time. He needs air bubbles in order to stay underwater without dying. There are certain bodies of water that Rayman can't go in, if he does, he loses some health. In Rayman Revolution, it is shown in the Minisaurus Plain that Rayman learns the ability to swim with the assistance of Murfy and a baby Globox.

In Rayman 3, Rayman uses the power to swim mainly in the Land of the Livid Dead. In the fourth phase of the world, it is revealed that he can now swim more freely with his helicopter hair and without needing air bubbles to survive.

Telescopic Fist

The telescopic fist is the first power that Rayman is granted by Betilla in the original Rayman game in Pink Plant Woods. It is his most widely used power, and with it, he can hurl a fist that defeats any enemies that are in his way. Another power, the grappling fist, allows Rayman's fist to grab objects such as extra lives and flying rings. It can be powered up by picking up gold fists, which double the fist power, and speed fists which make him throw it faster. Picking up a second speed fist will further increase the speed. Rayman can also increase the power of his punches by either charging the fist or punching while jumping.

Grimace

Grimace is Rayman's initial line of defense, which he has been capable of right from the beginning of the original Rayman game. To grimace, Rayman stretches his mouth wide with his hands, sticks out his tongue, rolls his eyes and makes a gurgling sound with his throat. The power's functions vary from game to game.

Fear and Madness Manipulation: In the original Rayman game, the only use for this power is to scare the tall Livingstones; when they see the grimace, they are driven mad with fear and start to run uncontrollably, usually killing themselves.

Breaking the Fourth Wall: Rayman occasionally performs a grimace at the camera if left idle by the player for a time. He also does this in the Game Boy Advance and N-GAGE version of Rayman 3.

Purification and Social Influencing: Rayman can then use this power to convert Black Lums back into Red Lums by making them laugh after defeating their Hoodlum costumes.

Crazy Shoe

The Crazy Shoe, Shoe Kart or Mini-Shoe Car is a temporary utility that is found in certain areas in Rayman 3. It is activated when Rayman comes across a stone with a shoe symbol, and when he steps on it, it will cause him to shrink to such a small size that he is able to sit in his right shoe and drive it, while the left shoe frantically races across the area. Rayman must ram the shoe he is driving into the other shoe in order to deplete its health, while scoring points depending on how hard and quickly he hits it. Once the other shoe's health is gone, Rayman returns to his original size, recovers his shoe, and is given a reward, usually a can of Laser-Washing Powder.

Legends Physiology

The Legends of Brawlhalla are the playable personas in the game. Each Legend has their own weapon combination, signature moves, and base stats, all of which are unique to that Legend.

Dimensional Travel: They can reach Valhalla, which exists in a separate world where only those who die in combat go.

Acausality: All brawlers can fight in Terminus, a timeless chaotic place.

Paralysis Inducement: All brawlers by a short moment of time can paralysis their enemies.

Acrobatics: All brawlers can jump very high or make multiple jumps.

Energy Projection and Energy Manipulation: Brawlers can project and manipulate energy (not the same energy btw)

Invulnerability: Brawlers with ''dodge'' turn invulnerable by a short period of time.

Invulnerability Negation: They can counter “dodge”.

Explosion Manipulation, Smoke Manipulation, Fire Manipulation, Text Manipulation, Creation, BFR, Air Manipulation, Electricity Manipulation, Invocation, Life Manipulation, Weapon Creation, Insta-Kill, Black Hole Creation, Adaptation, Lava Manipulation, Ice Manipulation and Light Manipulation: With K.O effects.

Martial Arts: Every brawler knows about Fighting Styles.

Precognition: They know when a battle starts.

Regeneration (Mid-Low): They can regenerate scars

Wall Run

The ability to wall run is a power in the UbiArt series of Rayman games, being introduced in Rayman Origins. The power is granted to Rayman and company by the nymph Helena Handbasket in the level Moseying the Mountain. After rescuing her from the clutches of a Darktoon, she grants the heroes the ability to scale walls simply by running on to them, causing them to run up vertically. This power seems to be limitless, as there is no maximum time the heroes can be running up a wall, granted that there is still a wall to run up along. The power also allows for walking on ceilings. By running up a wall that is connected to the ceiling, the team will scale the wall, run up a curve and loop round to find himself on the ceiling. Certain moves, such as jumping, will get him off the ceiling, whereas one form of attack is still possible, without causing him to fall down.

Shock Rocket

In Rayman 3, the Shock Rocket is provided by the orange cans of Laser-Washing Powder, and allows Rayman to shoot a guided missile which can be used to defeat enemies and trigger mechanisms. It lasts 6 seconds, making it the second shortest Laser-Washing Powder power-up (shortest one being the Throttle Copter). Rayman first chooses the direction, then shoots the missile, which triggers the countdown as if he was not standing near the can any more. Then, the player has total control of the missile until either the effect of the can has worn off, or the missile collides with something and explodes. Using the missile in battle is effective and avoids direct combat, but may require being hidden in a place where Hoodlums cannot find or shoot at Rayman, as he is vulnerable to attacks when in control of the Shock Rocket.

Rocket

The Shock Rocket returns in Rayman in the Phantom Show, the third DLC of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, where it is just known as the Rocket. When equipped, Rayman passively gains an immunity to all super effects, as well as upgrading his Blaster and Plunger Guard, now called Rocket Blaster and Rocket Guard, to create an explosion when fired. He also gains a new ability, the Rocket Ride, which acts similarly to the Shock Rocket in Rayman 3. When launched, a ghost of Rayman rides atop the remote-controlled rocket, moving across the battlefield and knocking any enemies in its path away. If the player detonates it on command or if it runs out of fuel, the rocket will explode, dealing damage to any enemies and/or covers in its blast radius. It can also be upgraded to apply the Burn super effect upon detonation. The costume lasts 1 turn when activated, and has a 3-turn cooldown.

BFR

This ability could have been on the fists, but we're going to focus more on it separately. Rayman is capable of sending enemies to another solar system in one fell swoop; rather, other characters are capable of doing this, including Rayman himself.

In Rayman Origins, we are told that he is capable of sending enemies to another universe with blows.

Broadway Force

On more than one occasion we saw that Rayman can force his enemies to dance, the first case occurs in Rayman Raving Rabbids, where he can turn on a radio that forces the Rabbids to dance and thus take advantage of defeating them, even erasing them from existence, and the other in Rayman Legends, where to make the bosses start dancing.

Portals Creation:

One ability in Rayman 2 is to create portals when dancing, this is done with the help of a Teensie and he can return to the corridor of the doors with these portals.

Subjective Reality

In addition to having the powers of Polokus, which allow him to turn his dreams and imagination into reality, Rayman can create fictitious things just by drawing them, mainly used to throw objects at the Rabbids.

Omniscience

The knowledge of the world is the truth about creation that the Lums bestow on whoever obtains it. With the knowledge, Rayman learned the truth about the origin of the world and the history of Polokus, literally making him Omniscient.

Time Manipulation

Rayman has shown several ways in which he controls time, from turning it back when he loses, to stopping it completely.

Breaking the 4th Wall

Throughout the Rayman games, the characters interacted with the player on more than one occasion, the clearest example being Rayman 3, where Murfy reads the game manual and Globox constantly mentions the player. In one commercial, Rayman directly comes out of the game into the real world and interacts with the viewer.

Summoning

What would an adventure be without friends? Luckily for Rayman, he has his faithful friends who will accompany him through thick and thin, and he is able to summon them in combat, having the power of Polokus to create and summon life, or even summon Murfy just by calling him. (See Summoning in Support)

Leptys Powers

After defeating the champion Reflux, the king of the Knaaren gave Rayman the power of his God, Leptys, which gave Rayman new powers

Duplication: With the power of Leptys, André planned to clone himself an infinite number of times.

Purification and Social Influence: By making the Lums laugh, Rayman can purify them and save them from corruption.

Astronomical Manipulation: The mere appearance of Leptys can create a starry sky.

Social Influence

Rayman is a very important person in Eden, he is the host of the Rayman Show and the face of the company, that makes him someone incredibly famous and charismatic who can gain people's trust easily, doing things like convincing guards to give him access to Bullfrog's cell.

Crash Bandicoot

Bandicoot (And Marsupial) Physiology

(Yeah, we'll do this shit lmao)

Bandicoots are a group of more than 20 species of small to medium-sized, terrestrial, largely nocturnal marsupial omnivores in the order Peramelemorphia. They are endemic to the Australia- New Guinea region, including the Bismarck Archipelago to the east and Seram and Halmahera to the west.

With their well-attuned snouts and sharp claws, Bandicoots are fossorial diggers. They have small but fine teeth that allow them to easily chew their food.

Bandicoots also have low body temperatures and low basal metabolic rates which aides their survival in hot and dry climates. They also have low total water evaporative rate and effective panting mechanisms which further aide their survival in hotter temperatures.

Marsupials are a diverse group of mammals belonging to the infraclass Marsupialia. They are natively found in Australasia, Wallacea, and the Americas. One of the defining features of marsupials is their unique reproductive strategy, where the young are born in a relatively undeveloped state and then nurtured within a pouch on their mother's abdomen.

Marsupials constitute a clade stemming from the last common ancestor of extant metatherians, which encompasses all mammals more closely related to marsupials than to placentals. This evolutionary split between placentals and marsupials occurred at least 125 million years ago, possibly dating back over 160 million years to the Middle Jurassic-Early Cretaceous period.

Spin

The Spin is Crash's most iconic and main ability, being given from his birth move and his main attack method, and unlike what some people think, it has several unique properties that distinguish it from just a normal spin.

BFR and Limited Existence Erasure: One of its main characteristics is the ability to throw enemies long distances if they are touched by the spin, throwing them off the screen and eliminating them completely, being able to damage enemies close to it.

Stats Amplification: has the ability to slightly increase Crash's speed, let him glide in the air

Homing Attack, Attack Reflection and Purification: Has the ability to reflect light attacks or similar just by touching them, doing this with Cortex and other villains many, MANY times. Also, by touching the rocks that Crunch had created, he turned them blue and made them attack Crunch.

Fusionism

In Crash Tag Team Racing, Crash is able to merge his car with other cars just by being close to it, activating a Wumpa fruit turret and thus knocking down enemy cars.

Breaking the Fourth Wall

Yes, Crash Bandicoot  became real.

Crash has shown in many times the ability to break the fourth wall, in several games he has been seen interacting with the game camera itself or seeming conscious of the player, also, in a commercial of Crash on the Run (see the gif above) he has been seen able to get out of the cell phone of whoever was playing it and go out to the real world, ¡It's Crashing Time!

Stats Amplification

(Crash Over Mutant really cook here tbh)

Crash has been able to increase his strength or his general stats with mojo, concentrating it in his body to improve it, reaching super saiyan form.

Weather (and Electricity) Manipulation

For some Lovecraftian reason, Crash can create thunderstorms out of thin air, although the clouds he creates don't seem to go down too well with him.

Regeneration

Crash has consistently shown great feats of regeneration, being able to regenerate from being turned to dust, and even the total destruction of his body, leaving only his soul, giving him a Low-Godly Regeneration.

Skylanders physiology

All Skylanders have their own abilities simply by being Skylanders, and Crash being one of them (especially a sensei) also gets all of their abilities:

Sky-Chi

The sky-chi is one of the sensei's abilities that can be unlocked at the battle altar that matches the same battle class as the sensei.

This special ability can cause a magical destruction of all enemies within a certain time and to use it a second time you have to wait several minutes.

It is the most recommended skill to use when facing Doomlanders but it can be used against any enemy, for example in the picture you can see Crash bandicoot using his yo-yo as sky-chi.

Lives

In Skylanders, Crash's lives are completely canon and allow them to come back from fatal injuries for at least five times, lives can be collected by obtaining 100 Wumpa Fruits or destroying Lives Crates.

Mojo

In the strange Reboot of Crash of The Titans, the Mojo is the element that is the focus of all these games, being described as the essence of life itself and what all the creatures therein are made of (see the image above) and being able to improve Crash's strength and other abilities. Being also able to make him know new moves.

Attack:

Upgrades to Crash's damage output and moveset

Defense:

Upgrades to Crash's Feather Gauge, allowing him to take more damage without losing health

Health:

Upgrades to Crash's health bar

Slide:

Upgrades to the Slide

Jacked:

Upgrades titans health

Flick:

Upgrades to Aku Aku when he is flicked on the touchscreen

Elasticity

Crash's elasticity is something very common for him, being able to stretch his body even though he suffers damage, such as his arms.

Immortality

Crash has shown on some occasions to be strangely immortal, like being able to be conscious after his body was cut in two (see the gif above), or even more impressive, being able to move while being a skeleton.

Rayman

The vast universe of Rayman is a magical and colorful world full of interesting characters. Rayman is the hero of the world and has friends who are ready to help him at any time to defend his home from the constant threats to it! Rayman is able to summon Polokus by means of the four masks, which were created so that only a hero can find them and wake Polokus up in case he needs it, besides having received his powers, including the power to summon and create life, with which Polokus created all the inhabitants of the Glade of Dreams and is able to summon them.

Globox

“Defeat is a relative concept”

A quiet force of the Glade, Globox is never to be underestimated. Always ready to lend a hand to his friends and adversaries alike, his mastery of Fung-Ku and etiquette comes down to the classic Gimme Five move, a solid smack that can knock you right out of your boxer shorts! This glorious goober* is nevertheless everything you could want in a friend. Always up for a little fooding, fighting, and power- napping - and always in good spirits- Globox is second to none when it comes to romping, bouncing, and bubble-izing baddies. The mystery surrounding how the Glade's all-time undefeated champion.

Rain Dance: The Rain Dance, also known as the Gift, is an ability used by Globox and his family in Rayman 2. In the Canopy, Globox helps Rayman by creating rain clouds that rain on obstacles such as fire, electric bars and plants. By making it rain on the plants they will grow and reveal their full shape which will be of use to the player in the level.

Body Control: Can enlarge and stretch his hands.

Regeneration (Mid): Can regenerate and return to normal after being completely crushed.

Energy Projection and Air Manipulation: Can shoot from his mouth and absorb objects

Martial Arts: Knows the art of Fu Kung.

Breaking the 4th Wall: During the course of Rayman 3, Globox constantly talks to the player, mentioning that it's all just a game, the times Rayman has lose and even telling Rayman that he was nicer in Rayman 2.

Mosquito

“Bzzzzz”

In the original Rayman game, Rayman first encounters Bzzit the pink mosquito in Anguish Lagoon. Rayman overcomes him in a brief boss battle (which is also the very first boss battle of the series), after which Bzzit becomes upset and starts to cry. Rayman takes pity on him and cheers him up, thus the two become friends. Bzzit then allows Rayman to ride on his back during the next phase of the level.

They usually appear in the last levels of each world (minus the revisted worlds and Mystical Pique) where they will offer Rayman and his friends rides to the next world. Their primary weapon is their proboscises which they can either shoot out of (similar to Bzzit in the Atari Jaguar version of the original Rayman) or use to inhale enemies then shoot them out. If the player is using Globox, Glombrox or Red Globox, a baby mosquito carries him as opposed to letting him ride on his back due his weight, temporarily enabling Globox to shoot out of his mouth and inhale enemies. They sometimes appear in hidden rooms with Electoon cages as well.

Ly the Fairy

“Don’t be afraid, Rayman… I’m here!”

Ly is a fairy, and like all fairies, she possesses great powers. Unfortunately, the explosion of the Primordial Core by the pirates has weakened her. When she has reunited enough energy, she can create Silver Lums, which give amazing new powers to Rayman.

Although Ly does not intervene in the fighting directly during Rayman 2, she is constantly watching over Rayman from a distance and communicates with him through astral projection.

Whenever Rayman dies, Ly brings him back to life to try again as many times as necessary, even using her powers to save him from death before the final battle against Razorbeard.

The magician

He is hidden away in the scenery. With his help, Rayman can enter into secret worlds. In these bonus stages, your skill and rapidity will allow you to earn Tings or a bonus life. But please note that this magic stunt has to be deserved, and it will cost you 10 Tings to take advantage of it.

Note: You will gain a bonus life if you manage to get a perfect score in the bonus map. This means you will have to get all the Tings within a minimum time limit.

The Nymphs

"The benevolent yet badass Betilla from Rayman 1 is back with a vengeance. She is the eldest Nymph, one of Bubble Dreamer's first and most beloved creatures. She and her sisters will grant Rayman and his entourage the powers they will need to complete their quest."

-Manual, Rayman Origins

The nymphs are a group of fairies who appear in the Rayman series. They make their most prominent appearance in Rayman Origins. The head nymph, Betilla, also appears in the original Rayman; the other nymphs are her younger sisters. The first trailer for Rayman Origins shows a flashback in which Betilla is levitating in a stone circle in the Primordial Forest, a location from the original game. With her hands she gathers rays of moonlight and weaves them into a glowing orb, which solidifies to form Rayman, Rayman was created by the nymphs to preserve the equilibrium of the universe from the nightmares of Polokus. Their role in the game is to provide new powers to Rayman and his friends when rescued from a Darktoon's mouth.

  • Head nymph Betilla: Betilla first appeared in the E3 2010 trailer of Rayman Origins. In this game she is identified as the oldest nymph and an old friend of Polokus. She 'weaves the moonbeams of the second summer solstice' to create Rayman, whom she hopes will protect the balance of the universe; however, the young Rayman is rebellious, immature and unruly. Like the Livingstones, Betilla is portrayed with limbs; a revision of her limbless appearance in the original game. It may be implied that she is also the trailer's narrator, and she seems to be recounting the game's events from a distant point in the future (presumably after the events of the first three Rayman platformers). A final, slightly modified version of Rayman's origin story was eventually offered on the official Rayman Origins website in November 2011, and can also be found in the game's manual.

  • Holly Luya, the music nymph: When Holly is rescued, she is then seen on the map of the Desert of Dijiridoos before the players reach No Turning Back, which is a level consisting of an Electoon bridge. If the players gather enough Elections, she will grant them access to this level. Later on she is seen in the Grumbling Grottos, before the players enter To Bubblize a Mocking Bird, the boss level of this world. When the players reach Riding the Storm, the first level of the Moody Clouds, she is seen along with the other nymphs floating in the top left corner of the portal that leads to the Moody Clouds; once the Mocking Bird is defeated, she is lastly seen meditating.

  • Edith Up, the gourmet fairy: When Edith is rescued, she is then seen on the map of the Gourmand Land before the players reach Mending the Rift, which is a level consisting of an Electoon bridge. If the players gather enough Electoons, she will grant them access to this level. Later on she is seen in the Luscious Lakes, before the players enter My Heartburn's for You, the boss level of this world. When the players reach Riding the Storm, the first level of the Moody Clouds, she is seen along with the other nymphs floating in the top right corner of the portal that leads to the Moody Clouds, once El Stomacho is defeated, she is lastly seen meditating.

  • Annetta Fish, the ocean nymph: When Annetta is rescued, she is then seen on the map of the Sea of Serendipity before the players reach Bad Bubbles and Beyond, which is a level consisting of an Electoon bridge. If the players gather enough Electoons, she will grant them access to this level. Later on she is seen in the Angsty Abyss, before the players enter Murray of the Deep, the boss level of this world. When the players reach Riding the Storm, the first level of the Moody Clouds, she is seen along with the other nymphs floating in the top right corner of the portal that leads to the Moody Clouds; once Creveton is defeated, she is lastly seen meditating.

  • Helena Handbasket, the mountain nymph: When Helena is rescued, she is then seen on the map of the Mystical Pique before the players reach Way of the Electoons, which is a level consisting of an Electoon bridge. If the players gather enough Electoons, she will grant them access to this level. When the players reach Riding the Storm, the first level of the Moody Clouds, Helena is seen as the only nymph to stay floating in the centre of the portal that leads to the Moody Clouds, and to chant a spell to open it once all of the Four Kings are defeated. Therefore, she is the only nymph that does not meditate, as there isn't a king that rules the Moody Clouds.

  • Big Mama, Land of the Livid Dead nymph: Big Mama is a gigantic pink tentacled monster who acts as the optional final boss of Rayman Origins, and the final boss of the Back to Origins mode of Rayman Legends.

Murfy

“Once upon a time, there were lums. Harmony, love, peace, boring! Suddenly, a black lum transforms the red gums into Hoodlums. The world is in grave danger.”

Murfy is Rayman's guide, sometimes referred to as his instructor or sidekick. He made his début in Rayman 2 and its remakes (excluding the PlayStation version in which his role is taken by Ly the Fairy, and other greenbottles are often found in cages, and the Game Boy Color version where neither he nor his species appear), later appears in Rayman Arena as a reporter, reprises his role as Rayman's coach for a short while in Rayman 3 (or the whole game in the case of the Game Boy Advance version), again in the Game Boy Advance version of Rayman Raving Rabbids and Rayman Origins, and debuts as a playable character in Rayman Legends. His nickname is ‘The Flying Encyclopedia’, and it is his job to provide as much information about the world to Rayman as he can, as well as teaching him how to train and perform his moves.

Murfy is back! Bubble Dreamer's messenger will be very useful in your various quests in the Glade of Dreams. The world is full of traps, but Murfy is watching your back. He'll appear when you need him most to help you through all the difficult moments, just don't ignore him!

Murfy makes his debut as a playable character in Rayman Legends. He appears in the opening cutscene where the Bubble Dreamer discusses the events that have passed since Rayman Origins and witnessing how the nightmares have multiplied in the intervening years. To combat this force, Murfy is ordered to awaken Rayman and friends, who are sleeping in a forest. His move-set in the game is different to that of the other characters.

Clark

“Clark! So it was you who wiped out all these pirates! Only 20 pirates against you? They didn't stand a chance!”

A mountain of muscles, Clark is an army all by himself. With one mighty blow, he can send an entire regiment of pirates flying. His only weak point: a somewhat sensitive stomach. This can cause problems, especially when in the heat of battle, he munches a robot that's a little too rusty...

Clark was one of the first of the people created by Polokus in the early days of the Glade of Dreams. Clark was created to fold the land into hills and to dig out valleys and lakes.

Polokus

“He is the spirit of the world, the creator of all that is and will be... His power is such that his dreams can become reality… Long, long ago he went away from this world, and only by reuniting the four magical masks can he be brought back…”

Bubble Dreamer is the Supreme Being who dreams the world and all of its marvellous creatures into existence with His every sleep. He is a sensitive being, an artist (and unabashed hedonist) who is emotionally attached to his creation. His feelings have a direct effect on the world, and even one bad dream can unsettle its fragile balance! The magic people believe Bubble Dreamer keeps to His sacred resting grounds. But we know better: this fun-loving, superbeing can’t resist living among His creations to laugh, play, and overindulge… and His creatures are much like him.

Conceptual Manipulation: Created the abstract universe of Rayman and all the other concepts of the world.

Abstract Existence: Is the embodiment of the consciousness and thought of the Lums.

Subjective Reality: He created The Glade of Dreams with his imagination and his power is so great that his dreams can come true.

Sealing: He can seal real world people in bubbles.

Existence Erasure: Completely erased the remaining pirates from the earth.

Invulnerability: While on Earth, Polokus is invincible by the power of The Lums.

Reality Warping: He can shape reality at will.

Space and Time Manipulation: Along with other Gods, Polokus created the time and space of Rayman's world.

Crash Bandicoot

Coco

"Ya gotta be cruel to be kind."

Coco is Crash's sister and probably his best friend. She can help Crash in a fight by communicating with him and being able to send objects from there. Coco has shown herself to be very intelligent, having an IQ of 164, showing lots and LOTS of hacking demonstrations, like the time she hacked Cortex's lab or N Gin's "Time Twist Machine". She has also shown himself to be capable of creating machines, such as a virtual reality machine capable of teleporting objects long distances, (together with Nina) creating the Doominator and a device to counter Cortex's planet minimizer.

Aku Aku

(Rest in Peace, Mel Winkler)

“Well done, children”

Aku Aku is a sorcerer who reincarnated his soul in that of a mask, serving as a guide for the bandicoot brothers in their struggles against the sea and one of Crash's best friends.  He has several abilities that helped Crash in his adventures, such as:

Temporary Invincibility and Stats Amplification: Able to make Crash invincible for a while by amping up the power of Aku Aku. Also, it enhances the jumping, defense and healing abilities of its wearer.

Energy Proyection: Capable of create energy beams.

Energy Shields: Crash can use Aku Aku to create a magic shield and block attacks, also, his feathers are able to protect Crash from initial damage.

Teleportation: He was able to teleport Crash to a distant Cortex ship.

Light Manipulation: Can use his own body to glow and serve as a lamp.

Telekinesis: Able to grab Crash with his mind when he was almost transported through a portal.

Power Absorption: Was able to absorb the power of crystals.

Possession: Aku Aku can be used to mind control Mojo creatures, Cortex himself and Nina Cortex. Being able to use them as a mount.

BFR: Send Crash and his friends to Space.

The same as Uka Uka

Uka Uka

“Game Over.”

Uka Uka is the brother of Aku Aku, another powerful sorcerer who sealed his soul in a magical mask. He serves mainly as Crash's enemy and Doctor Neo Cortex's guide. Being his enemy, why is Crash his ally? Easy, because he can summon him in Crash team rumble lmao.

Telekinesis (and also Ice Manip) : Can move things with the mind, turning him into a Ice Golem

Energy Proyection: Capable of create energy beams.

BFR: Send Cortex and his friends to space.

Astronomical Manipulation: It is capable of creating meteors from the sky, in addition to being able to change from day to night with only its presence.

Weather Manipulation: Can create a Massive Storm.

the same as Aku Aku

Polar

“Rawwwwww”

Polar is a polar bear cub and Crash Bandicoot's pet. He usually helps Crash get through snowy environments, though he also offers assistance in other ways. When he's not helping Crash, he enjoys kart racing with him and his friends.

In Cortex Strikes Back, Polar makes his first appearance in the snow-themed warp room. If the player jumps on Polar for the first time since entering the warp room, the player will eventually get an extra 10 lives. Polar also appears as Crash's transportation in the levels Bear It (level 8), Bear Down (level 13), and secret level, Totally Bear (level 26). He also appears in the last quarter of Un-Bearable (level 15), where Crash must ride him to get away from a much bigger polar bear. After the adventure, Crash took Polar in as a pet off-screen.

Nitrous Oxide

“So, you pesky Earth slugs like to race, eh? Heheheheh! Well I, Nitros Oxide, am the fastest racer in the galaxy!”

Nitrous Oxide is an alien from the planet Gasmoxia self-proclaimed as the "Fastest Runner in the Universe", scouring countless stars for creatures to test his skills in a race and if he beats them, turn their planets into a parking lot and make their inhabitants his slaves.

Crash has fought many times with Nitrus Oxide, being able to summon him in Crash Team Rumble in exchange for 8 relics, so he is a Support for him.

Besides guys, he's not a bad person, you guys are just mean.

His most important aspect is his Hovercraft, being able to shoot fire projectiles, leaving a trail of fire behind himcause tremors that travel forward towards an opponent, and most importantly, he possesses a ray with which he can de-materialize his enemies.

Mutants

(yeah, we're doing that)

Spike: As his name says, he is able to invoke thorns in any possible way and ram in a radical way, also winner of the titan idol contest.

Goar: A super big and bestial titan, he is mainly used for ramming with his horns.

Snipe: Normally a titan that uses its feathers to attack its prey, can charge his attacks and make a blast and so on.

Yuktopus: A titan even more enormous than normal titans, is a kind of rare fusion mutated and created by neo cortex, is immensely more powerful than normal titans. He can play quite catchy tunes to knock out the titans, he has a laser beam and can also steal the mojo magic from the wumpa island.

Rhinoroller: The fusion of a rhinoceros and an armadillo, crash can be used as a bowling ball and sweep through enemies as if he were Sonic.

Shellephant: A mutated beast with an elephant and a crab capable of spitting fire, obviously able to lunge with his trunk.

Magmadon: It is a turtle fused with lava and magma, as you can see it is not affected at all by these, being able to slap with fire, also to jump and pounce falling on top of enemies and create pillars of flaming rocks.

Stench: A skunk and a vulture, as a LoL player he smells so bad that he kills animals, he can even concentrate his attacks in concentrated projectiles of bad smell.

Scorporilla: A gorilla and a scorpion, he can use its scorpion tail and spin it to attack enemies, and take advantage of its immense gorilla strength, even put them on fire for some reason

Sludge: a slug and a chameleon (in mind over mutant, a pig) is a titan full of toxic waste, obviously this makes it without effect to themselves, being able to become a slime of snot to dodge and change their physiology, can also stretch parts of his body as luffy to hit And able to spit slime.

Ratcicle: A rat and a carambano.

as you can see he is the titan of ice, being able to form weapons with his hands and create large pillars of ice.

Battler (BATTER??????): A bat and...razor blades, can obviously ram and fly in the air, can control the air and attract enemies, even launch small tornadoes.

E-electric: The titan of pure electricity, a mutated electric eel, can launch bolts of energy, or create large waves, that or make a huge thunder fall from the air.

Arachinnina: The final mutant of the game, and the biggest of course, him gives high punches and can be put in its 4-legged form, being able to advance quickly and throw laser beams, him can also use its huge saw on its arm of course.

Tk: A little ball that has psychic powers, moving enemies around if he wants to.

Grimly: A kind of weird little ghost that gets high combos really fast. but more importantly, he can put all the time in slow motion (who doesn't feel so special anymore, kupuna wa).

The Three Legendary Titans

The Three Legendary Titans are the most powerful titans of the Wumpa Islands, especially the trio of the Mutant Islands, they were sealed behind large doors in the center of the island, and after Crash helped free them and won their friendship, Crash was able to summon them and defeat the evil Dr Cortex.

They also have a strange phobia of moles, idk why

Legendary Titan of Earth: The first Titan in the game, as the name suggests, is able to manipulate the plants and soil around him, such as creating a projectile of plants that surrounds him for a few seconds.

Legendary Titan of Ice: The second Titan of the game, being able to manipulate ice around him, and freeze enemies instantly.

Legendary Titan of Fire: The third and last Titan of the game, being able to manipulate the fire around him and launch fire and magma projectiles.

Honestly they works as a cool Regis MU…

Crash Team Rumble Allies

In the online video game Crash Team rumble, in exchange for a certain amount of relics, Crash can summon allies in his adventure. These being:

TNT Drones: Costing 3 Relics, several TNT Drones appear on the map and explode on contact with an enemy.

Big Bonsai: Costing 6 Relics, Big Bonsai is able to give its wearer various “wumpa resources” allowing him to recover from injuries.

Spirit Guardian: Costing 11 Relics: Spirit Guardians give their bearer a boost in all stats (speed, attack, stamina) and give immunity to Knockback.

Sandwich Storm: With 10 Relics, Sandstorm allows to...creating a sandstorm, damaging opponents and blurring their vision while they are behind it.

Dragons: With 6 Relics, several dragons appear on the map and cause massive damage on contact.

Quantum Masks

To fix a multiverse that was breaking down because of a Cortex machine in Crash Bandicoot 4, he has to gather the 4 Quantum Masks, the guardians of space-time and grant their wearers to alter and bend the very rules of reality, each with different abilities, these being:

Lani Loli: Being the first mask of the game, this allows Crash to introduce and remove objects from reality itself, allowing you to interact with them as if they had always existed, and if they have been taken out of reality, they can not interact with crash in any way. in addition, it has the ability to make the wearer invisible

(Also played by Richard Hotviz, outer tbh)

Akano: Being the second mask of the game, Akano is portrayed as the dark matter itself, allowing Crash to create a vortex around him that will damage on contact and enhance his spin, allowing him to reflect any projectile

Kupuna Wa: The third mask in the game, this one itself is time itself, being able to see through time and the past and present at the same time. It also has the ability to go backwards and even “bend” time itself, allowing Crash to move forward faster and have his ability to recharge faster.

Ika Ika: As the last mask in the game, this is portrayed as the mask of gravity, being able to affect everyone and turn them upside down and also allows Crash to jump higher and do a Super Body Slam on impact with the ground.

Scaling

Rayman

Friends

The Glade of Dreams is a world abounding with joyful and magical beings created by the dreamer to bring joy to the world he created. Among those creatures, Rayman is the strongest, a powerful and determined hero who was created specifically to protect the Glade of Dreams from the nightmares that no one else in the world could stop, so Rayman should be stronger than all his friends and other beings in the Glade of Dreams.

Various Enemies

Polokus' constant nightmares about the loss of his wife threaten the delicate balance of the Glade of Dreams, so the Nymphs created a strong and funny hero to protect the world (guess who!). Rayman has faced countless foes, always defeating them all, so scale the feats of the enemies and bosses he has faced over the years.

Robo Pirates

Cruel, strong and hostile. Commanded by the cruel Razorbeard, the robot pirates arrived in the Glade of Dreams and began to kidnap all species to conquer the world, Rayman had to take care of them and defeat the armies of pirates that threatened the peace of the world and in the end, he defeated Razorbeard in a final confrontation.

Rabbids

Ubisoft's current mascots, the Rabbids are aliens from the Rayman universe that later evolved into their own franchise, despite this, they are still part of the same Rayman universe (see in the "canon" section). Rayman has faced multitudes of Rabbids since Rayman Raving Rabbids, its sequel, Rayman DS and they have even appeared in Rayman Legends, years later, Rayman is still fighting alongside the Rabbids in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, which practically upscales all his feats.

Polokus

The Bubble Dreamer, Polokus is the spirit of the world that sent the nymphs to create Rayman. While it is implied that Polokus is superior to almost everyone in the Glade of Dreams, he needed Rayman to protect him from his own nightmares, as well as having given Rayman all the power of the Lums, who created him, so Rayman can scale smoothly to all his feats.

Brawlhalla

After adventuring at the command of Polokus and going on countless adventures, Rayman arrived in Valhalla, where he joined the cast of Brawlhalla fighters. Rayman can fight against all the Brawlhalla fighters and is even mentioned as one of the best fighters in Brawlhalla.

Captain LaserHawk Cast (Debatable)

Rayman (later known as Ramon) is a supporting character in the Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix series. While we didn't see him fight directly or interact with the main cast characters, Rayman survived being beaten by Red and was subsequently faster than Red, being that Red is able to fight Laserhawk and almost kill him, would make Rayman Debatably able to scale to the cast's feats.

Crash Bandicoot

Friends

Like all heroes, Crash has made countless friends throughout his adventures, saving innocents and fighting alongside his allies, and has even proven to be stronger than most of them.

  • Coco can pilot a ship to jupiter while dodging tiny and the others while being shot at (42.73 c) (FTL+)

Miscellaneous Bosses

The world of Crash Bandicoot is full of villains and dangers that threaten the peace. Luckily for us, Crash and his friends have defeated all the enemies in the games, so he scales virtually all of them.

General Masks

The masks are quite normal beings to see in Crash Bandicoot, they have different types and even species to which Crash scales.

Aku Aku and Uka Uka: Crash was able to defeat the Evil Twins and the Mecha Bandicoot, which can also damage the Evil Twins. This is relevant because the Evil Twins defeated Aku Aku and Uka Uka, and are even mentioned as superior to Uka Uka.

Elementals: Crash defeated Crunch, who at the time was powered up by the elemental masks. In Crash On The Run he can beat up all the elemental masks and uka uka, he did also defeat powered-up characters with all the masks.

Quantum Masks: Crash defeated N Gin, whose machine was powered by Akano, to later defeat Cortex, who had all the masks in his possession and was using them to power his machine. besides again, all of the characters can hurt other characters amped by the quantum mask in team rumble

Elemental Masks:

Quantum Masks:

Aku Aku and Uka UKa:

Crystal Leads

Crystals are powerful items that appeared multiple times throughout all of the Crash Bandicoot games. It takes at least five of these crystals to match the power of a single one of the elemental masks (which Crash scales to), and Aku Aku is able to absorb the power of the crystals throughout N Tranced.

Skylanders

Crash is one more skylander who fights in the imaginators adventure, but even better, he is a sensei, the greatest skylanders sensei of all time and of course, he defeated the sensei shrine, only the best skylanders can do that, leaving Crash as one of the most powerful in Skylands.

Spyro

“I know this is not the path you would choose for me, but I have to walk my own path... and do what I know is right.”

What started as a rivalry ended in one of the greatest friendships in video games.

Their first encounter occurred in Crash Purple and Spyro Orange, where Crash and Spyro fight together to stop the evil plans of Cortex and Riptor, who teamed up to conquer the world.

In Crash On The Run!, Crash directly fights against Dark Spyro, who belongs to The Legend Of Spyro trilogy, and in Skylanders, we see again this Spyro together with Cynder, which would make the scaling consistent. The last time the two crossed paths was in Crash Team Rumble, where Spyro is a playable hero. In short, most (if not all) versions of Crash and Spyro have crossed paths on many occasions, so this friendship also gives them both consistent mutual scaling.

Weaknesses

Rayman

Rayman's greatest Weakness is that if the heart of the world is destroyed, he will lose access to all powers until he collects the necessary Lums, this also affects the other beings in the Glade of Dreams such as Ly the Fairy.

Weaknesses of his Allies:

Polokus is only invincible on earth. In the sky, he is as vulnerable and weak as a baby and the Lums cannot help him.

Globox is unintelligent, often puts himself in danger and is someone who becomes afraid of insignificant things like boats.

Crash

Despite being incredibly intelligent and skilled, Crash can become very dumb, naive and manipulable, even having a hard time noticing obvious things, like in the introduction of Crash Twinsanity, where Cortex disguised herself as a bogeyman (a very bad disguise) and pretended to be her to trick Crash, which Crash didn't suspect at all.

Before the Verdict…

Mario Scaling + Rayman Canon

Talking about Rayman canon is not as easy as it seems, however, it is somewhat short because you only have to focus on three fundamental things: Mario, the Rabbids and Brawlhalla. Since all the other Rayman games are 100% canonical and/or usable.

Rabbids

Starting with the easiest thing to clarify, the Rabbids over time evolved into their own franchise separate from Rayman, going for another change and being the protagonists of their own show instead of just being antagonists in Rayman.

There is a short answer to whether all the Rabbids stuff is still canonical for Rayman, and that is the official timeline that Ubisoft released, a timeline that tells us the history of the Rabbids in order, not the release of their games, as it lists the years of the Rabbids being on the moon, in prehistory and even in Egypt before Christ, so we can take this as a chronology.

The important thing here, is that in that same timeline we can see the first Rayman Raving Rabbids located before Rabbids Invasion, and even more important, Mario + Rabbids at the end of the timeline, which confirms that the Rayman we see in Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, is the Rayman we all know, and everything is still canon.

As support that all Rabbids content is still canon for Rayman, we have the fact that he had a cameo and mention in the official comics.

So, what about Mario? Is this canon for him too? Can we use cross scaling?

Let's start by clarifying whether or not this is canon for Mario and if we can scale Rayman with his feats.

Starting with the latter, in Mario + Rabbids many events from Super Mario canon have been revered, such as Mario Kart, Rosalina looking for her family in Mario Galaxy, Yoshi's Island events, and Donkey Kong Country locations, so even if this wasn't canon for Mario, it is canon for Rayman, and this version of Mario lived all the events of the Super Mario saga, so giving the same Mario level to Rayman and the Rabbids is completely viable.

Credits to Corn Dog's blog for this.

Moving on to answer whether or not this is canon for Mario, we should talk about a rather important issue. It turns out that the director of this game, Davide Soliani, who was creative director of both Kingdom Battle and Spark of Hope, and who had a close relationship with Miyamoto and Nintendo in general for the realization of this game, was interviewed by youtuber Nathaniel Bandy for a video, in this video he asks him some questions about the release of the game, among the many questions he directly talks about whether the game will be canon, to which Davide neither short nor lazy responded with this:

Now, a detail that many overlook. The mention doesn't rule out it being canon completely, as it only mentions that everything takes place in a "Parallel Universe" to the main Mario universe, this could mean that it's literally just another universe in the same Mario cosmology, and it could be the Mario we all know because:

And even if we ignore all this, what does it tell us that the Mario of this universe is stronger than the original? I mean, they lived the same events, had the same adventures, and even have the same origin, they are practically identical as to have such an unbalanced power level. And even if they weren't the same, Mario + Rabbids doesn't have any contradiction to the story, in fact, they have the SAME story for Mario and his friends, so we can use it as supporting material when analyzing Mario.

We leave this here because this is not a Mario Blog, however, we wanted to give our point of view on this topic.

Regarding the cross scaling, it is somewhat controversial, however, because it is completely canon for Rayman and that Mario has lived the same events as the original (if you say it is not canon), we can say that the scaling between Rayman and Mario is true. However... we won't take it into account because we don't want this blog to become a discussion of Mario's level, coda quite discussed and that we want to avoid to not lengthen the blog too much. Besides, being honest, Rayman's stats probably go beyond almost everything Mario has to offer, so we turned the situation from "Rayman scaling to Mario" to "Mario scaling to Rayman".

Btw, nothing to do with it but I want to take this opportunity to say that Mario VS Rayman is great and you should give it more recognition! It's a beautiful match up in every way that can have an amazing fight and takes the best of both characters, please give it a chance!

-Morta ♡

And not stars, mario is not only island ngl

- Roxx >:3

Does this mean that Polokus scales to Mario's cosmology?

No.

While, it is known that Polokus and the other Gods created all the universes that exist, nothing indicates that he is responsible for creating Mario's world, since in Mario + Rabbids itself we are told that both worlds existed separately but ended up merging into one, meaning that Polokus only created the world of Rayman and the Rabbids and not necessarily Mario's.

Brawlhalla

This one is a bit simpler. We took the trouble to investigate Brawlhalla because it has everything to be canonical in the Rayman universe, and this is a very simple explanation and we will start with the story that Brawlhalla tells us about Rayman, as well as the lore site of Brawlhalla.

As the story goes...

The Glade of Dreams is once again under threat from the nefarious Mr. Dark, and once again, Polokus, the Bubble Dreamer, has called upon Rayman to save the day. From Polokus, Rayman learned that the only way to defeat Mr. Dark was to find the lost Horn of Lums.

Setting forth on his quest, Rayman ventured deep, deep into the forest. One day, after long travel and many adventures, Rayman emerged into a wide clearing. High on a hill he saw the huge golden hall and heard the roar of a vast crowd. Entering, Rayman was met by the sight of the Grand Tournament of Valhalla in full swing. Among the throng of cheering spectators, Rayman saw the god Odin wearing a “Sentinel #1” baseball cap and a Sir Roland jersey (it was 2v2s-day). Next to Odin sat the Tournament’s glorious pile of prizes. Sitting on top of the pile was the Horn of Lums.

Without hesitation, Rayman entered the tournament. That he would be battling the greatest warriors of every time and place bothered him not at all, and he quickly showed himself to be one of the best. But even for Rayman, victory will not come easy.

Rayman is fighting hard to win the Horn and complete his quest, but he also loves the wild ruckus of Valhalla, and feels right at home among the bizarre cast of legendary warriors. He is especially good friends with Kaya and has a truly amazing handshake with Kor that only they can do.

Somehow, the Glade of Dreams is connected to Valhalla, probably through the Fangwild Forest. That's how all other realms seem to be connected to Valhalla, and Rayman's lore does say that he ventured "deep, deep into the forest," finding Valhalla after "long travel and many adventures." That implies that an entire Rayman game's worth of adventures or more could have happened during this journey. So, if Rayman's world can be connected to the Brawlhalla universe, think of the possibilities (at least, regarding other Ubisoft games)!

This explains everything in an incredibly straightforward way. The Glade of Dreams is connected to Valhalla, and Rayman's adventures in other games happened before Rayman arrived in Brawlhalla, being a canonical adventure for the games, we don't have to explain much more.

Others

There are non-canonical media that we decided to use as supporting material, which are the Rayman animated series (because of the clear contradictions with Rayman) and Captain Laserhawk, because haha ramon, it's funny! anyway, this material doesn't bring a big change to the main discussion, but using it gives us more to talk about, so we included it.

As for things like the commercials, it's a strange supporting material, as they are probably not canonical at all, however nothing says they are not and there are no clear contradictions to the story, so we took the liberty to use them.

Rayman Cosmology

As much as it may not seem like it, Rayman's dreamlike world has a large cosmology that needs to be explained, as the characters scales it.

Glade of Dreams

The Glade of Dreams is the main world where Rayman develops, it is the beginning of our adventure and we have rarely left it.

It is called more than once as a universe or reality, which Polokus creates with his dream bubbles, which give shape to the whole existence. But it does not end here.

Parallel Worlds

There are multiple mentions that the levels in Rayman are universes in various games. It should be clarified that these worlds exist within him clear of dreams, so any exploits involving him would reach this level.

The first game where this occurs is Rayman 2: The Great Escape, where in the game store we are told that Rayman will explore different universes (the worlds of the hall of doors), and although it may seem hyperbole, this is reaffirmed in the official French guide of Rayman 2, and in fact, twice! so we can safely say that each level is a new universe that Rayman must explore, being a total of 16 universes.

This is taken up in Rayman Legends, where we are told that Rayman will venture into three colorful universes with multiple levels inside, giving more sense to everything explained.

Rabbids Cosmology!? (Yes, it's serious!)

As funny as it may seem, the Rabbids have their own cosmology, which connects to the multiverse of Rayman.

The Rabbids Multiverse is something that has existed for a long time, this is corroborated in the comic "Lapins Cretins: Une spece D'odysse", where it is made clear to us the existence of the Multiverse, and how there are many “parallel worlds” or timelines.

Although not out yet, the Rabbids now have a new game called “Rabbids Legends of The Multiverse”, where the theme of the Rabbids' Multiverse will be further explored. In any case, we will update this section if anything in the cosmology changes for that game, that's all for now.

More Timelines

In the Rabbids section, we mentioned that the Rayman universe works with the theory of parallel worlds, which becomes important here.

As we know, the dream glade was created by the mind, dreams and imagination of Polokus, who created all the concepts of cosmology.

Among the concepts of the mind that Polokus created, is time, which he created after finishing with the glade of dreams. We know that this is not a hyperbole since he mentions that when he created time, he created the future, which means that Polokus created the axis of time (past, present and future).

This is something that goes more into the theories of philosophy, so it is more complex.

All the universe of Rayman is abstract, the mind and conscience of the Lums and Polokus created the concept of time, and the Lums (abstract beings) conform it. That time in Rayman is a metaphysical and abstract concept, a creation of the mind of Polokus, and exists in the whole world of Rayman, which has infinite size, which is important because of the following description:

Infinite timelines

Does time stretch infinitely backward or have a starting point?

You say that either of these possibilities are less preferable to the option of time merely being an abstraction of the brain, and I understand this if you associate the idea of a non infinite timeline specifically with the idea of a deity. Also your option 1) (infinitely backwards timeline) involves the idea of infinity, which indeed may be internally contradictory in some way.

However, the possibility of time having a definite start point does not necessitate that there is some "entity" out there which initiated the timeline.

Basically, if time is an abstract concept, infinite and by default, they contain an infinite amount of parallel worlds (parallel worlds being a concept mentioned in the Rabbids comics), which leaves cosmology at at least Multiversal+

Brawlhalla

As seen in the Canon section, Brawlhalla is completely canonical to Rayman and connects to the other Rayman games, which means we can credit Polokus with creating the cosmology. I'll try to summarize it since the cosmology is not too complex, so it will be simple:

“But it was said that the Mario and Rayman worlds were separate so Polokus didn't create that cosmology, doesn't the same thing apply here?”

It's not really the same thing. As mentioned in Mario + Rabbids, the Mario and Rabbids worlds are completely separate and ended up being joined by the Vortex, however, Rayman and Brawlhalla are one and the same world, since Rayman arrives at Brawlhalla by exploring the forest of the Glade of Dreams, and we know that Valhalla is physically connected by the Glade of Dreams, so, there's no problem with giving Rayman scaling to the cosmology.

Leptys Scaling

“Oh Leptys! Father of the Knaaren people! Give to this mighty, mighty warrior your crystal powers!”

The God Leptys has several things that, although we could have mentioned in scaling, we believe it is better to clarify here so that there is no confusion. In a scene from Rayman 3, a Teensie doctor states the following:

“Oh like eh, if they succeed in like, evoking the Leptys like, the whole world will like go up in smoke dude!”

This can be interpreted so that when Leptys arrives, the entire world will vanish from one moment to the next, which would be a feat of both Attack Potency and Speed, but... what does the world mean? We will start by ruling out that it refers to the planet:

  • Leptys is the God of the night, who controls the night in the universe and his mere appearance is capable of creating a space full of stars.

  • Leptys, being a God, was one of all the Gods of the world who helped Polokus create time and the universes.

  • The word World in Rayman is often used to refer to the Glade of Dreams more than once, or even to refer to all of creation, such as the Heart of the World, being the energy of the entire universe.

So, there are two possibilities: the word world is referring only to the universe, or it is referring to the Glade of Dreams, which contains at least 18 parallel universes that are represented as new levels. As it is mentioned that the Universe will vanish, this was calculated to 2 (using only one universe) and 52 Quintillions (using all 18 universes), however, if it refers to all of creation, it could have an Immeasurable or Infinite speed, since This explosion would be spanning at least 18 separate space-times, or spanning an infinite number of universes and timelines. Attack Potency is governed by the same, being a feat that ranges from Universal, Low Multiversal or even Multiversal+.

“How does Rayman scale to this?

The final boss of the game, Reflux, was fused with the power of Leptys's scepter, which contains his powers, and Rayman is able to damage both Reflux and the scepter to destroy it. Polokus should be superior to Leptys, being the God who created all existence, including other Gods.

Lums Statements

As Rayman is completely made of Lums and several Verse feats are based on Lums, we saw it necessary to make an explanation about the stats of the Lums, as it is not something very easy to explain. The lore of the world gives us several interesting statements about them, this is the first one:

Naïve

First, you must know that the universe is made of energy. Everything that moves around you, everything that lives and thinks is given life by the tiny magical lights which we call... Lums.

The Lums are literally the universe and everything Polokus created, this means that everything in existence is made up of Lums, including time. This doesn't stop here, as Rayman's Universe is infinite, by containing the infinite tower (which while it doesn't appear to be infinite because it just keeps appearing infinitely, the rest of the tower going down appears to be infinite as it will never stop and the level will only end until Rayman loses, which means that the universe can contain a structure of infinite size), and the endless fire world, which means that the Lums make up not only an infinite size, but also the space, time and the other Universes of the Glade of Dreams, giving them an Infinite speed to Immeasurable.

Naïve

Purple Lums assure the cohesion of the world. Without them, nothing would be solid or visible. With your magic fist, you can jump through the air and grab them one after another.

Another support that the Lums embody everything in the Universe. The purple Lums are all the visible and solid objects that exist, without them, nothing would be physical in creation.

Naïve

Yellow Lums are the 1000 fragments of the Heart of the World broken by the pirates. They contain universal knowledge. The more you gather, the more you will learn. You can access the secrets of the world by pressing F1.

The Lums not only form the creation, they are also the heart of the world, the source of Polokus' creation.

Wise

As you know, the pirates broke the Heart of the World into pieces. They want to make us all slaves and keep all the riches to themselves. They are soulless monsters, good at only one thing: stealing our dreams that they will never share.

At the beginning of the game, we are told that the Pirates physically destroyed the heart of the world into pieces, and the Lums are the energy that makes up not only the Universe, but the entire glade of dreams, being a Universal+ to Multiversal+ feat that Rayman and his friends scale.

Crash Bandicoot Cosmology

The Multiverse in Crash Bandicoot is something that has always existed and it is important to explain it here.

To start with this, this is the dimensional map.

This is a visual display of the different dimensions that are separated in the Crash Multiverse. Coco says that the rift is a gateway between dimensions of the Multiverse, and in Crash Bandicoot 4 we meet a new Tawna, which is a tawna from a parallel universe where Crash and Coco died, coming from a different timeline

In Crash 4 the Multidimensional Multiverse is made more clear, having a rift would allow Cortex to conquer the entire Multiverse and all dimensions and parallel universes. In Crash On The Run, the Multiverse that was about to be conquered by Cortex is mentioned.

Each player of Crash On The Run is a new dimension, there being 10 million in total.

The other Crash games exist as separate universes, such as Crash On The Titans, which is part of the Multiverse, having Scorporilla (a Boss of Titans) in Crash On The Run. (hell, titans crash is there)

But this is not the most important thing, the important thing is in Crash Twinsanity, where it is mentioned several, several, several times that there is an infinite number of parallel dimensions, being the tenth and eleventh Dimension the only confirmed ones. It should be clarified that these dimensions are only parallel Universes and not higher geometric dimensions as many people believe. Leaving cosmology in a Multiverse Level+.

The Size of SkyLands

Skylands is the most normal location of all skylanders, a magical place full of clouds and islands to explore, which has been too consistently called as an infinite place (we could mention all the examples here, but we decided to make a link on imgur with all these statements), even in the intro of super chargers, we can see that it doesn't look like a planet at all, but another kind of realm.

It is stated that being so big and not knowing if there is beginning or end, the reliable way to travel is through portals, which connect two points in space, dimensions, and if we believe the legends, time, but if we go not only for things of the lore but for other important evidence for the characters themselves, take for example stormblade, which his dream was to travel, and in his case, to find the end of skylands, unfortunately… given that skylands is, well, you know, she never found it, because she never found an end, being that the sky only moves forward, consistent with the mentions of the sky clouds islands and even skylands itself being infinite.

Power Gem Scaling?

The big elephant in the room of Crash arguments. The power gems, IN CONJUNCTION, are easily Multi+ (look at this link

But cortex said it takes a QUANTITY of these, we don't know how many are a "few" and we don't know exactly enough to quantify them to say that a single one contains such energy to destroy a universe. Crash can get a lot, sure, VERY plausibly more than Cortex needed, but this does not do it by itself, we can not scale Crash to a quantity of power gems, normally the gangs and bosses of COTR contain ONE gem that Crash faces, we could say that Crash would reach levels with the gems at his disposal, but it is definitely not something that scales to his normal stats, that said, not much can be done about it.

Crash is possibly Multi+ through the Power Gems.

Mortadela

Damn... it's been months since we've seen each other. Yes, I know it's been a while since the last blog, but we're finally here! But enough of the chatter. Today I'm here to give the first verdict on this blog, since it's a Match Up too special for me and we put too much effort into it!

Although in general I don't like long texts, this time I will make an exception, since the amount of arsenal and powers that both have is too extensive to make a short verdict, and I want to do it right, so here we go!

Stats

Starting with strength and endurance, as usual, I'll first mention his finite feats, where both hover around a cosmic level.

Rayman has defeated all the robot pirates, who can shake the planet just by walking, and faced Razorbeard, who is known to have disintegrated hundreds of planets to cosmic dust. Rabbids are important here, as they can move continents, reaching Dwarf Star (21.7 Ninatons), or even survive being thrown into the sun, feat Moon Level (58 Exatons).

Rayman has his most iconic feat, shaking a constellation, calculated to Solar System (1,414 MegaFoe), and finally, defeating Reflux with the Leptys power, which is able to make a starry sky by being the bearer of the night.

Crash has many more feats of this stature, such as being Comparable to the Imaginator, who can create black holes (Large Star), and is comparable to all masks, among them, Wa-Wa who created the surface of the planet, the elemental masks who can cause a tremor that shakes the entire planet (198 Teratons), Ika-Ika that can flip the planet, Uka Uka that can change from day to night, and Aku Aku that can absorb the power of crystals, which can shrink the planet, destroy the world and absorb the power of the stars.

Spyro has several interesting feats, such as retaining the power of the destroyer, who could destroy the planet and create a new one (662 Extatons), being able to push pieces of the planet together (5.9 Ninatons), or being comparable to Cynder, who can move celestial bodies (167 Ninatons).

Most relevant, however, is the Aether, which contains the power of meteors, gravity, suns and is the matter that shapes the entire Universe. This is at least a Large Star Level feat, since it is mentioned that it is the power of the suns, and if we say that all the suns of the Universe, we could take it as a Multi-Solar System feat. A small clarification, is that while someone can take this statement as Universe Level, it is more correct to interpret that the Universe is made of Aether, but Spyro can not concentrate all the power of all the Aether of the universe in a single attack to give scaling to this, so we will not take it into account.

With infinite exploits, Crash has scaling to quite interesting things: The ancients creating Skylands with their magic, vehicles being amplified with the power of a thousand lightning bolts that could destroy the entire Universe, darkness being able to destroy Skylands, which as we know, is infinite, and finally Kupuna Wa being the embodiment of time.

Now, the strong point of Rayman: Polokus. Rayman received the maximum level of power and energy from Polokus and the Lums to face Razorbeard, even in the introduction of Rayman Origins, we see how enemies beat up Polokus and lock him together with Rayman's other friends, which further sustains the scaling. This is critical, as Polokus is the creator of all that exists in the Rayman verse, not just the Glade of Dreams, but all of reality which he can shape at will, having created the concept of time and all of existence, a Multiverse Level+ feat due to Rayman's cosmology, furthermore, Polokus' nightmares are able to tear the fabric of the Glade of Dreams, making it disappear as if it were a nightmare, and the weaker pirates were able to destroy the Heart of the World in pieces, another feat that encompasses cosmology.

Crash, for his part, also has arguments of this level or similar, via Power Gems, which would allow Cortex to create a dimension without Bandicoots and destroy all the others, there being an infinite number of dimensions in Crash's verse.

The problem with this is that Crash doesn't physically scale to the Gems, there's no reason for him to do so, and we don't actually know if he really has the number of Gems Cortex needed for this feat, which makes it a bit doubtful to scale him to this, but, if we were to say he has all the gems, Crash would reach Multiverse Level+ via Armament.

Moving on to Speed, it's a bit harder to decide.

There are several feats of speeds greater than Light in Crash Bandicoot, such as Crash dodging lasers (3 c), Coco dodging things while piloting a ship traveling between planets (42 c), Nitrus Oxide flying from another galaxy to earth (120 Trillions c), or Crash and Spyro piloting a ship traveling through the galaxy (157 Billions c).

The maximum finite speed that Crash reaches is by scaling Spyro, whose verse has a feat that reaches 112 Quadrillions, and scaling the Quantum Masks, which launched a ray that sealed the breach, which was in other universes (1 Quintillion).

Rayman has casually come up with feats like launching a Teens into a constellation, or scaling Razorbeard, which flies through several stars, both feats reaching Billions of times the speed of light. With his scaling to Leptys, however, he reaches a minimum of 2 Quintillion times the speed of light assuming a single universe, and possibly reaching 52 Quintillion times the speed of light, something that leaves Crash's speed behind.

But this does not stop here, as both have arguments at infinite speeds, but let's review a little on this.

Rayman has multiple arguments in favor, the main one being the Lums. Rayman and Globlx are able to catch Lums in mid-flight and he himself is made of Lums. Lums are the energy of the Universe and time, they embody all of reality, including the concept of time and the infinite universes of Rayman's cosmology, being Infinite speed at worst.

As explained in the Before the Verdict section, one of the statements about Leptys is the destruction of the world in an instant, referring to the Glade of Dreams that has at least 18 universes, possibly infinite, which means that Leptys in an instant could disappear the world with an explosion that would travel through different times and spaces.

As a bonus, Brawlhalla characters are able to travel between reality and escape from extra-dimensional worlds with their speed.

Using Skylanders, you can argue quite interesting speed feats for Crash, such as Spitfire, who can fly and cross absolutely all of Skylands, which is infinite in size, or the ancients creating Skylands by magic lightning, which should be able to travel an infinite distance by creating a place of infinite size.

Crash has three arguments for Immeasurable speed: Kupuna Wa is the embodiment of time, the sorcerer casting a slingshot of magic that pushed everyone into another universe, and the quantum masks shooting lightning across the Multiverse.

Personally, I'm not quite sure about Kupuna Wa, as her statements tend to be that she is the mask of time that sees into time (past and future), but we don't really have a direct statement that she embodies time as such, and as for Spyro, it's correct that the Shadow Realm is another universe separate from the main universe, which is somewhat more solid and logical, it is correct that the Shadow Realm is another universe separate from the main universe, which is something more solid and logical, however, it depends on whether you want to scale the sorcerer with his magic, as it could be simply range or attack speed, but I will leave this to your interpretation, as I don't have something against the feat.

The Quantum Masks feat was proposed by me and is the closest to being truthful in my opinion, as this shot did not teleport or travel through portals, rather it was a shot that traveled with straight line speed until it reached other universes, traveling through space-time. Personally I agree with attributing an Immeasurable speed to the lightning, or at least Infinite speed for expanding through the Multiverse of Crash Bandicoot, which is infinite.

In conclusion, Rayman is infinitely stronger, although Crash can match him in AP through the Power Gems, it won't do him any good since it's something quite specific, and since he doesn't physically scale to the Gems, a single hit from Rayman would end up killing him. In speed, both are evenly matched if you buy Kupuna Wa being the embodiment of time, Spyro's sorcerer feat and the Quantum Masks feat, however, if you don't take them, Rayman would have a clear Speed advantage (Immeasurable > infinite), he also has a clear advantage in finite speed, reaching Speedblitz with a considerable advantage. Rayman takes these sections in my opinion.

Equipment

Oh dude, this is going to be long...

Rayman has a huge and useful arsenal that can make all the difference in this battle.

Lums: The Lums

The Lums are the fundamental component of reality and are what the entire Rayman Universe is made of. They give Rayman the powers of creation and the powers of Polokus (which we will see in Support).

They make Rayman completely Omniscient, invincible and are 1001 in total (fuck u Razorbeard)

Power Fist

Makes Rayman much stronger and allows him to one-shot his enemies.

Cans

Blue: More than just a grappling hook, the LockJaw is a biter with sharp teeth that can latch onto enemies and give them a hard bite.

Yellow: Pretty much the same as the Super Helicopter, it just lasts less time.

Rayman Fiesta Fun Power-Ups

Phoenix can revive Rayman once he dies, something consistent with other Rayman abilities like Ly the Fairy's resurrection.

Golden Heart: Makes Rayman invulnerable from two hits every time you use it. You're not the only one, Aku Aku!

Beastly Flying Fist: Makes Rayman much stronger and allows you to defeat enemies with a single hit.

Mario Items

Cleansing Elixir can remove all negative effects from Rayman, which means that powers that cause Rayman bad statuses will be useless once he uses it.

Immunity Charm is quite similar to Aku Aku, it makes Rayman immune to attacks and negative effects for several seconds.

Crystal, although we only saw it in a commercial, Rayman has a crystal that he can use to manipulate codes and alter the programming of the game where he is. Crash has shown no resistance to Data Manipulation, so esgo can alter Crash's code, his allies and even his world.

Eraser, an eraser that Rayman can use to erase objects and even people from existence, with which he could erase Crash and deny his Regeneration (more about this in Abilities).

Something more than remarkable in Crash are his Power-Ups and his extensive amount of arsenal, which I will mention (I'll only mention the useful stuff here, I don't want to extend too much)

Power Crystals

These crystals give Crash a variety of powers after he collects all 25.

Paralysis: While this may seem useful, Brawlhalla characters can avoid paralysis and return to normal.

Dimensional Travel: This ability can save Crash from Rayman's BFR in case he is sent to another universe (although this happens after Rayman hits an enemy, so Crash should survive the hit first haha).

Sealing: As mentioned in the resistances section, Rayman can escape after being Sealed into objects like books and pictures, so Sealing is not an option.

Mind Manipulation: Similar to the case above, Rayman proved to be immune to Mind Manipulation.

Vehicles and Machines.

Crash has a lot of vehicles, although they are not extremely useful, I will mention how these vehicles can affect the fight.

Firefly Machine, Glider, Copter-Pak and Jet Pack: Allows Crash to fly at a distance and fight in the air, although Rayman can do the same with Mosquito and Super Helicopter.

Power Loader: Shoots water and Wumpa Fruits to damage his enemies, which wouldn't work due to Rayman's high resistance.

Biplane: Similar to the first examples, but in addition to flying, the Biplane can shoot and be used to attack from a distance in the air.

Mecha Bandicoot: A giant robot made to defeat Crash. It doesn't change much, but I was curious to mention it because it's too similar to the robot used by Razorbeard at the end of Rayman 2 to defeat Rayman.

Motorcycle: Cool as fuck.

Space Motorcycle: RAYMAN OF CZARNIA, YOUR SINS ARE INNUMERABLE, IM HERE TO REAP VENGEANCE UPON YOUR SOUL

The Size Changer is not very useful, it can make objects bigger and smaller, however, Rayman can return to his normal after being reduced to small (seen in Rayman 3) and can be made smaller through funnels, which makes him able to ignore the Size Changer.

Power Gems

Power Gems are Crash's Armament and something that could put Rayman's back against the wall. They contain quantum energy and a few are capable of creating a new universe without Bandicoots and destroying all other dimensions, which are infinite. These Gems would give Crash the same AP as Rayman, although Crash doesn't physically scale to these, they are something useful that prevent him from being a stomp on AP.

Conclusion

While both have an overwhelming amount of items, this point goes in Crash's favor. Crash has a much larger amount of weapons and vehicles, although Rayman's items like Lums are more deadly, Crash has more varied items that can give him the edge in battle.

Abilities

I'll start with the most basic of Rayman: Fists.

Transmutation: With a punch, Rayman can turn his enemies into stars or insects, something that Crash resists, but I'll detail it later.

Existence Erasure: With a single blow, Rayman can completely erase Crash from existence without needing to defeat him first.

Soulfuck: Rayman's hits are not only physical damage, they can damage the enemy's soul and destroy ghosts with punches, which cancels Crash's regeneration and can destroy his ghost without giving him the chance to come back after dying.

Power Null: To add something to everything else, Rayman's fists directly deny resistance to his conventional haxes, that is to say, it doesn't matter if Crash resists Transmutation, he will be transmuted the same way, it doesn't matter if he comes back from Existential Erasure, he will be erased the same way. Something extra, is that Rayman's Transmutation works on non-physical beings, so resisting standard Transmutation is useless here.

In conclusion, thanks to his various effects and Power-Null, Rayman only needs one hit to win.

Rayman's Duplication is a strong card here, because not only does it allow him to create several copies of himself, he can directly clone himself INFINITE times, which would make Crash be fighting infinite Raymans at once, all the same as the original, which have a huge amount of haxes that would put Crash in trouble.

Rayman's BFR is useless here, as not only can Crash travel between stars with his bike so sending him to another solar system would be useless, but also quantum masks can send Crash and his enemies to another universe, which renders this ability useless against the marsupial.

Save and Load, one of the most useful things here, which allows Rayman to come back again and again after dying. This ability is canon and characters like Globox remember every time Rayman has died, so killing Rayman is not a viable option. Rayman's save and Load also allows him to come back after being incapacitated or making a bad decision, so Crash has no real way to get rid of Rayman permanently.

Grimace has several powers that could become effective on Crash

Madness and Fear: Both abilities that Crash can't resist. Using Grimace would make Crash so scared that he would freak out and take his own life.

Purification and Social Influencing: The gentler side, Grimace with the power of Leptys could purify Crash, make him laugh and become Rayman's ally instead of continuing to fight.

Legends Physiology would give Rayman a few powers that can counter some of Crash's stuff.

Paralysis Inducement: Crash Bandicoot characters have been seen to be affected by paralysis, such as Coco being paralyzed for hours at the beginning of Crash Twinsanity at the expense of Cortex, which leaves Crash at a huge disadvantage against this power.

Dimensional Travel: He can ignore Crash's BFR by being able to travel to other universes.

Broadway Force, it's a pretty funny way to end the fight. Rayman can understand a radio and force Crash and his friends to dance against their will, taking advantage of this to attack without them defending themselves, or he could even possibly wipe them out of existence by dancing like he does with the Rabbids.

Subjective Reality, although not very useful, Crash can create things just by drawing them or even dreaming, a single thought of Rayman with the power of Polokus can create or do whatever he wants.

Power Stealing, in short, Rayman can steal Crash's powers and use them himself, leaving Crash without this power. It is possibly one of the most deadly things that could use Rayman, as it can leave Crash without his best powers and even use them himself.

And now, the most important thing of all

Rayman's powers are mostly based on magic, a fundamental component of reality, and Lums, the essential components that make up the Universe and the concepts of Rayman's world.

Lums and magic are conceptual forces that alter Rayman's abstract, imaginary and metaphysical universe, and Rayman is entirely made of Lums and his abilities are based on magic, which gives him the advantage of having these hax at his disposal.

This comes hand in hand with Rayman's Regeneration, as he can regenerate after being erased from existence, being a High-Godly regeneration by Rayman's Conceptual existence, something that Crash cannot deny in any way.

Crash has a large arsenal of powers, among the most notable:

Spin, while Crash's most iconic attack is interesting, it's not useful against Rayman. He is able to exit and return to the game so removing him from the screen is useless, and his Regeneration allows Rayman to return after being erased from existence, something Crash can't deny.

Breaking the 4th Wall, Crash can exit the game into the real world, something that could be useful, but Rayman is able to do this himself, so it would only lead to them fighting in the real world (hey, that would be very interesting to see).

Crash's Regeneration is a useful factor, as he can come back even after his body is completely destroyed, leaving his ghost, however, Rayman can destroy and even transmute ghosts, so once Crash dies, Rayman can kill him again by destroying his soul before he regenerates.

The Skylander Physiology has a very, very useful ability here, which is the ability to negate resurrection. This is key as Rayman is quite dependent on his power to revive, so this ability could ignore resurrection thanks to Ly the fairy. The only problem is that Rayman can come back thanks to the player and the green Lums, something I see difficult for Crash to deny. Still, if we were to say that Crash can completely negate Rayman's resurrection, Rayman still has his High-Godly Regeneration, so even without resurrection, he can still regenerate over and over again.

Lives and Immortality: Crash's lives are quite useful, as he can come back after dying and try to fight Rayman again, although this is not a major problem and has the disadvantage of being able to come back only 5 times (or more if he has many Wumpa fruits), the point is that Crash's lives are limited and he has limited attempts to beat Rayman, while Rayman's lives are infinite and allow him to try as many times as he needs, added to the fact that Rayman can transmute Crash in one hit, something that doesn't need to kill him and would leave him completely incapacitated.

Super Speed: While it would be useless using finite Ends because of Rayman's 52 times faster speed, Crash could become faster if we use the Immeasurable speed of both, although Rayman can also become faster, it is possible that Crash can take advantage of this.

In conclusion, Rayman takes this section quietly. His Physiology would make him immune to most of Crash's powers, he has a more varied amount of powers, better Immortality, can negate Crash's Immortality, resists most of Ctssh's haxes, has ways to end the fight earlier and can win with just one hit.

Support

Both fighters have a large number of friends that will help them in this fight, and each and every one of them can turn the outcome of the fight depending on how they do things.

On Rayman's side, we have a more than interesting number of allies and I'll focus on the most important ones.

Globox

The most special force of the Dream Glade and Rayman's best friend can affect this battle in many different ways.

He is a skilled fighter who knows martial arts and can attack from a distance by stretching his arms. Rayman can also use him as a Mosquito, absorb things, shoot and fly to fight against Crash's airships.

Moskito

He's a prop that doesn't stand out much, but he gives Rayman mobility in the air in case he doesn't have the Super Helicopter, and he can shoot energy out of his nose, which would allow them to shoot down Crash's flying machines thanks to the different Stats.

Ly The Fairy

She is a fundamental part of the fight, because thanks to her, Rayman can not die or be in danger. She helps Rayman from a distance, saving him if he is in danger and reviving him if he dies, so every time Rayman dies in battle, Ly will revive him instantly and save him before something bad happens to him.

Since she is not directly in the fight, it is difficult for Crash to get rid of her since he would not know where she is, while Ly will continue to save Rayman from dangerous attacks and bring him back from the dead as much as necessary.

Clark

He is the muscle in this team, while not too useful, he is stronger than most of Rayman's allies and obviously much stronger than all the characters in Crash, which would make him capable of defeating armies on his own and one hit almost all of Crash's allies, being an expert fighter who can take down armies on his own, so he would take down Crash's titans, allies and other friends with his great physique.

Murfy

Rayman's spirit guide can be summoned into the fight, and once he is there, he will help Rayman fight, warn him of dangers before they occur, and watch his back during the fight. Murfy can also read the game manual, telling Rayman what can happen and fighting moves.

Polokus, creator of the world.

Polokus is certainly someone who fights alongside Rayman and has helped him eliminate many enemies at once, so it is more than valid to say that he will fight in this scenario, and the first thing he could do is wipe Crash and his allies out of existence just as he did with the Razorbeard Pirates (of which there were many more), something that none of Crash's team proved to resist. Sealing is also somewhat useful, since the masks proved vulnerable to Sealing, Polokus can seal Aku Aku, Uka Uka and the Quantum Masks in bubbles, leaving them incapacitated, he could even do this with all of Crash's other allies such as the Titans, leaving Crash vulnerable to an army (if not also sealing Crash himself).

Crash's allies are more numerous and are quite interesting to mention.

The Aku Brothers

Both share the same powers, so it's not necessary to separate them and I'll mention them together.

Invulnerability: Aku Aku is able to make Crash physically invulnerable, which could be useful, but Rayman is able to become permanently invulnerable with the Lums, while Aku Aku's is temporary. In addition, Rayman not only causes physical damage, but also damages the soul and even the concept of his enemies, so he could overcome Aku Aku's protection. In addition to this, Brawlhalla characters can ignore Invulnerability by "Dodge", making this useless.

Possession: Rayman is resistant to mind control and being possessed by ghosts, so discarded.

BFR: Practically useless, since Rayman can return to earth thanks to his speed, portal creation and Teleportation.

Ice Manipulation: Rayman is immune to the extreme cold of space and survives being in the arctic, so the ice is of little or no use.

Power Absorption: Ok, this is possibly the most useful thing they have. While Rayman has been shown to be able to steal the Rabbids' powers, he hasn't been shown to resist this power. For his part, it's doubtful that Aku Aku can absorb the power of someone literally infinitely more powerful than him, and even if he could, Ly the Fairy and the nymphs can give Rayman back the powers he lost and amplify his stats, so even if this is useful, Rayman can regain his powers and stats again.

Coco Bandicoot

Crash's sister can talk to him from a distance and help him from afar, much like Ly with Rayman. Coco is able to send items to Crash for battle and hack weapons and advanced Cortex labs, however, Rayman doesn't use tech items beyond his weapons in Mario + Rabbids, being that most of his arsenal is magic based, so there are very few of Rayman's weapons that could be affected by Coco. However, she has proven to be smarter than Rayman in general (without the Lums), so in addition to sending items to Crash, she can devise a strategy to help in battle.

Mutants

To save time, I'm only going to mention the most relevant titans worth mentioning, since most of the mutants are based on strength attacks, something useless because Rayman is stronger than all the characters in Crash.

Yuktopus: He is able to steal mojo magic and power from the wumpa Island, something that as mentioned in the Aku Aku section, could serve to absorb Rayman's power, however, Ly and the Nymphs can simply give Rayman back the powers he lost.

Shellephant and Magmadon: Both can attack with fire, heat and magma, which is negated by Fire Protection.

Sludge: The mutant that can attack with radioactive waste, something that Rayman could not resist directly, but would be useless due to Abstract Existence, even so, some of Rayman's allies would be affected.

E-electric: This mutant can launch electric rays and electrocute enemies, something that Rayman has shown to resist during the course of Rayman 2, so it wouldn't be of much help.

Grimly: This mutant has the ability to slow down time, something that in general could be useful, but Rayman has shown to manipulate time on a better scale and also be resistant to this.

Nitrus Oxide

Nitrus Oxide is a useful character that Crash can summon, unfortunately, his powers are useless against Rayman. They all rely primarily on gameplay, something Fire Protection completely ignores and renders Rayman completely invulnerable to heat. Ice is also somewhat useless against Rayman as I mentioned several times.

The Three Legendary Titans

This will be short, as they really aren't very useful.

In short, Rayman resists everything these titans can do. He is immune to fire and magna with Fire Protection, he can free himself from being frozen and resists the cold of space, and manipulating plants would be useless since he can do this very thing with Rain Mask. Besides being much weaker than Rayman and his allies, the three titans are nothing more than dead weight and won't contribute anything to the fight.

Crash Team Rumble Allies

TNT Drones and Dragons: Not much to say here. Rayman is immune to explosions and is infinitely more resilient than the damage that Crash's TNTs or dragon fire can cause.

Spirit Guardians: Spirit Guardians can appear in the fight and give Crash and his friends a boost in all stats. Rayman is infinitely stronger, so raising his AP would be useless, while with speed, Rayman has a finite 52 times Crash's speed, so lowering the gap wouldn't remove Speedblitz.

Sandwich Storm: This is more interesting, since Sandwich Storm can create a storm that clouds Rayman's sight, however, this could be denied by Murfy, who knows all the locations and places to guide Rayman, even being able to see invisible or hidden things, so even though, the storm could cloud Rayman's sight, he would still be guided by Murfy to fight even at a disadvantage. And if we mention the Lums, Rayman's Omniscience would totally negate this by knowing everything.

Quantum Masks

Probably the best help Crash has of anything we've seen. The quantum masks have unique powers never before seen by any character in Crash Bandicoot, and are worth mentioning.

Lani Loli: This mask allows Crash to remove and return objects to reality, which is an important ability as it is capable of returning objects that Rayman can erase from existence, such as Crash's arsenal. Although his existential erasure is somewhat useful on a general level, Rayman can return after being erased from existence itself, so it might not get rid of him, but it could erase Rayman's arsenal and leave him unarmed.

Akano: This mask is made of dark matter, which can create a vortex capable of damaging his enemies. While Rayman could avoid this thanks to his Abstract Existence, Rayman's other allies have shown no defense to this ability.

Kupuna Wa: The Time Mask is useful here, as it can manipulate time, although this is an ability Rayman has already demonstrated and can exist without concept of time, Kupuna Wa can see into the future and avoid the most lethal attacks to protect Crash, however, the Lums Omniscience could negate this.

Ika Ika: Probably the least useful mask here. It is able to manipulate gravity and flip the stage, however, Rayman has already fought upside down and with the stage flipped, so he could easily deal with this mask.

Tertiary Factors

Crash is a natural born fighter and an agile brawler, capable of deceiving his enemies in combat. He is described as very agile and has defeated enemies that can only be defeated by the best fighters in Skylands. In general intelligence, Crash is a genius who can create vehicles and even rockets with normal things in a very short time. Yes, very impressive, but...

It's almost nothing compared to Rayman, who is not only hundreds and hundreds of years older than Crash, so he gets the experience, but also knows advanced martial arts and has literally been fighting since he was born, has faced much bigger and more dangerous threats like space pirates (who conquered planets all over the galaxy), dark lums, Polokus nightmares (who exist since before creation) and even the Rabbids, who have proven to be true geniuses.

And most importantly: the Lums.

The Lums are standard for Rayman, and as soon as he has them all, Rayman becomes Omniscient and knows everything about reality and Polokus' creation.

Crash is a great fighter and very smart, but Rayman's martial skill, experience and Omniscience simply make him take the Tertiary factors without any problem.

Conclusion

It was a lot of work researching both characters, and it was closer than I thought, however, I have a clear decision. Rayman can take the win without too much trouble.

Right off the bat, he's infinitely stronger, 52 times faster with Finite Ends, better arguments for Infinite/uncounterable speed, and Crash can only reach such a level of AP through dubious items.

Crash takes Armament, but that doesn't do him much good when Rayman has better support and allies in general. Also he has better haxes, mainly, more ways to end the fight earlier, he can negate Crash's Immortality by destroying his ghost or spending all his lives, or even incapacitate him with just one hit via Transmutation. Basically, Rayman needs only one hit to win, while Crash can't negate Save and Load or Regeneration even if he were able to negate Rayman's resurrection.

So, this is it. In my opinion, the Clear Winner of this battle is Rayman!

You did well Crash, better luck next time.

Lua

BOOM WOOMP, how are you all? honestly it has been a crazy few months...but here we are, I have spent a lot of time working for this and it has been worth it, so let's start with the first of all, I warn you this is going to be long, it is one of my most requested and I don't plan to disappoint you.

Stats

Well, actually both characters have done so many absurd things that it's unbelievable, but taking a look, you can see a little clear advantage....but even if I really want to give my point of view, rayman has managed to resist explosions that obliterated a small island, fought with rabbits which can move constellations, and even make eclipses, like daphne, even hit so hard that shakes constellations, even if our marsupial is quite powerful, he has defeated crunch empowered by the elemental masks, the same one mentioned as the perfect weapon to empower the elementals, these could make the ice age, destroy cities and crush mountains create disasters for the planet and the globe, make the planet tremble just with his awakening or wa-wa which is capable of flooding the entire planet and recreate it as it was before, not to mention him being comparable to crystals, whose energy could shrink the planet, destroy it into pieces, or simply debase it and absorb the energy capable of containing it, they can even absorb energy from the stars, this together with uka uka making transitions from night to day leave crash at a stellar level...sure, inferior to ray's constellation punching feat, but it doesn't end there, both have demonstrated capabilities that surpass their cosmic feats...but not so cosmic, remember, polukus created EVERYTHING!, the robo pirates penetrated the heart of the planet, which have all the lums, you know, multiversal+ structures, this with petra and artemis leave ray at a pretty clear cosmic level. But don't discount our bandicoot though, he's potentially much stronger, remember, he's a skylander sensei after all! even if he's not the brightest (wink), other skylanders have fought darkness, which amped a machine to destroy all skylands!completely consistent with darkness obviously, he himself has declared himself as a threat not only to skylands, but to the universe, skylands is an infinite structure, and darkness could affect it completely, remember those rift engines which fight with darkness could destroy the universe, it's more! crash doesn't need scaling to the skylanders itself, he himself can fight with kaos amped by brain, an ancestor, these same ones created all skylands with his mind magic, you know, the same one brain uses to expand it for skylands and the same one that created it?, the same one used to ampear kaos, and crash kicked his ass, by the way, the 4 quantum masks completely stopped the rift generator rift, which was going to clean the timeline and reclear it for the n tropy, same rift that was for the multiverso......though, you really have to highball this feat a LOT to get to rayman, we could say that it was going to eliminate all existence and very, VERY theoretically you could say that this would affect everything else....but that's the problem, THEORETICALLY, we don't know with such accuracy the range of the masks, obviously, they would affect the timeline completely, but i can only theorize about the rest, this feat would be universal+, but you have to do too many convoluted things to put it higher....a while i think crash could compete in part with rayman, it's much safer to say that Rayman takes this category, neither his bestie spyro (they are, and whoever says they aren't, is lying) helps him in pure power more than closing the gap between cosmic feats not so cosmic and adding another uni more with purple dragon feat

As for speed, sure, we have rayman hitting people to constellations, which gives 9 billion, or even the leptys, which would make the world disappear, about....damn, 52 quint (or well, incomensurable if you take that affects all ofc creation, but talking about measurable), not bad honestly, and surprisingly....crash is pretty close to rayma, it has fought with the coco ships traveling to jupitar (42c) but more importantly, it was able to keep up with oxide's ship on foot, even cortex was able to intercept one before it advanced, this ship can travel from gasmoxia to earth in not much time, which is 120 trillion, even together with spyro, he piloted a ship while fighting cortex and ripto traveling to another galaxy, about 157 billion c, even the sorcerer made a wave that sent everyone to the shadow realm, another universe, about 122 quadrillion! this combined with the quantum masks launching their beam, crash finally could end up in 1 quintillion, sure, inferior to ray, but you see the potential of our marsupial, but out of what we can calculate...let's go with what we can't, for example, rayman catching lums, which can do creation and be the universe and time, same with brawhalla characters that can escape 4-d spaces flying, and you know, the leptys doing their thing infinitely, leave ray at a completely incalculable speed, an incomensurable decent....but even so, our bandicoot is no slouch, remember, brain magic created skylands, an infinite structure, spitfire running through skylands, even interpretations of shadow world can leave the feat in immeasurable, kupuna wa is a strange case....since she mentions being time itself, though, she's pretty vague on her own, although technically it makes sense, I won't take her so much into account in this, but you know Rayman takes finite speed, and about the rest...plausibly Rayman is something more direct taking the advantage in speed, but being fair, both can be immeasurable and that feat of the quantum masks...possibly can be taken as something immeasurable, personally it could be a tie anyway, so yeah, in that section could leave both with the same treatment, but maybe Rayman having better arguments, anyway in speed, both can reach the same results if we go all out.

and here is the incredible point, Equipment

This is where our beloved crash starts to take the advantage, he simply has too much shit to throw! for normal weapons, it's no surprise that rayman simply pales in comparison to the huge and varied arsenal of diverse weapons that crash has, his intagibility boxes, lives, and even checkpoints were quite useful to stay in combat with him for a while, his size changer could affect any physical weapon rayman tried to throw at him, the same with all his dimensional bfr potions which thanks to their vast majority, would serve to remove many options in rayman's arsenal, makeanotherinator serves to counter rayman's cloning, his homing attack would make many of his options reach ray, even if obviously many aren't a big deal for ray, crash's vast arsenal overwhelms ray's weapons, with so many options to use, crystals could take out many of rayman's too, his way of absorbing power would make any energy attack from rayman not very favorable, his paralysis was always a good option for many of ray's alidos, and while he can't seal ray, it's not like ray can either when crash always can....you know do Crash and go out into the real world, same with all his on the run weapons, elemental effects don't affect rayman, but they are very useful with problems like globox mosquito ly magician and the list goes, potion that goes, dimension that you go, but obviously I don't take credit to ray, those lums DEFINITELY were a problem, it was a very powerful weapon to which crash, outside of absorbing them, didn't have that many options against them, except those beautiful and sweet power gems, which COULD compete with the power of these, of course, crash doesn't specifically resist the lums, but it's not too much to mention the amount of options he can throw at ray, despite the lums being an incredible problem to crash, and ray's best card in this category, I feel it's right to give this point to Crash for his much more vast arsenal and more different options to attack and defend, without misunderstanding me, rayman is armed to the teeth, but this marsupial is full of surprises that put him in a tight spot.

now with an even more important point, Abilities and Allies.

Unfortunately, and with all my heartfelt regrets, this is when the nose really takes the upper hand.

Rayman had too many magical abilities, which unlike his weapons, crash didn't have as good answers, sure, crash can always return most of crash's ranged attacks by himself by turning or thanks to akano, but rayman and his lums put crash in trouble, rayman's subjective reality is MUCH more advanced than crash has shown, and his omniconsciousness was TOO much for crash, sure, coco was much smarter than rayman and could always hack and disable any rayman weapon, he can come up with strategies for him and all, but it's not the same as being completely OMNICONSCIOUS, giving ray a much clearer advantage when attacking and defending, crash can defend against his duplication with his makeanotherinator, although this is still an ability that ray can always resort to naturally while crash only with his weapon, but don't discount crash here, he resisted many of the things rayman could throw at him, no effect of his punches would significantly affect crash, he can't erase it since crash would come back, he can't transmute it since crash would return to its normal state as if nothing, and his time manipulation was not very effective here, being that crash has time on its side.....literally, same ability that crash defended itself, his power null is not of soooo much use...in crash, aku aku obviously could always defend crash, and Aku could always summon more boxes so as not to stay out of the game most of the time,so even with rayman's abilities itself, he had no real way to close the deal.... but neither did crash, they both shared too many abilities on paper, lani loli can get rid of rayman's allies and such.... but polokus could do the same with crash's other options, most abilities would naturally affect everyone around him...except the two of them! and they both have shown to be able to regenerate from any physical damage, how convenient don't you think, it's like we've been planning this forever (no, really, we really thought it was going to be much easier to choose), but then again, they've shown resistances, which far EXCEED many of the things they could throw at each other, so even with their weapons and abilities, crash didn't have a very viable way to take down ray, but the funny thing here, is that neither rayman had many attacks that could defeat crash easily, both are simply too tough, of course... until crash used his full abilities with the lums, remember, PHYSICAL damage, the lums, in general, have shown a scale too much bigger than what crash has faced, from which crash couldn't always come back, not even their lives were going to last forever with such a threat, no crash mask could aspire to such a thing, of course, crash has a bigger number of alidos, his titans gave him a great variety, but it's not something they haven't faced before, sludge always annoyed his allies thanks to his proportions just like oxide gas to rayman's alidos, even if they give him a great attack and defense stance, they wouldn't last forever, the same with Aku Akj even though he can control any creature (no, not only mojo creatures, especially thanks to nina, especially thanks to nina), it wouldn't last forever, so even though Crash could hold his own for a long time, really, a long time, sooner or later he could fall to Rayman's true abilities, so even though they can keep throwing things at each other for a long time, eventually Rayman takes this category with his magic abilities.

And here we go with the final category, Tertiary Factors

Here while there is not much to discuss.... there are curious things at least, for starters, it's no surprise to anyone that rayman takes experience in a solid way, he has fought for MUCH longer than crash, and has lived for much longer, the same with general intelligence of course, in intelligence it's funny how technically crash has more demonstrations of intelligence mechanically....despite being you know, that bandicoot that is sometimes brainless, but anyway, they both had ways to adapt to each other's fighting style, to throw cards at crash, he has fought MUCH more experienced guys than him in the first place, like the masks, which have been fighting for a LONG, long time, he has fought geniuses like n tropy and cortex, and he is incredibly skilled, remember, SENSEI SKYLANDER!!!!!!!!, though, one thing just doesn't take away from the other, rayman is MUCH more experienced, GENERALLY more intelligent and skillful, despite that, crash really CAN keep up with him, he really has faced a lot of things our bandicoot.....but again, one thing simply doesn't take away from the other, while crash is better at mechanics and is incredibly skilled and a natural born fighter, his experience as a skylander sensei, and his adaptability to the warnings, rayman is simply too experienced and capable in general......(though nothing to underestimate my boy, he really is a great fighter >:( give him credit) so Rayman takes this again

And well, here comes the CONCLUSION GRAHHHHH, I'm really excited about this, so aha, at this point if you have read it you will have noticed, I think Rayman takes the fight, but my verdict really wanted to give him all the credit that crash deserves.... i really thought i wouldn't be able to give him any advantage and that he was going to come out looking bad, but here we are, i'm proud to prove that my second favorite video game character can make the grade, that being said, while crash had weapons, allies, skills, and durability to go on for hours, rayman generals better ends, hax, and experience were too much for crash....unfortunately and with all my regret, it could be said that crash couldn't turn this in his favor, sorry my boy. 🫡

WAIT, ONE MORE CATEGORY?

CAAAAAAAAARS 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️

Nah but this if it will be short, for more general exp that rayman has, crash simply has many more weapons, skills, demonstrations in general and intelligence in this section of cars to overwhelm rayman, is what has that your spin off more exploited are the cars being fair....., here if yes, crash melted the engine of Rayman.

Ryzo

Stats

AP and Resistance / Endurance:

- Rayman finite and infinite stats is way superior. then Crash Crash best feats are scalling with allies like Kupuna, who is Time itself, the skylanders who can create tiny holes and cause a chain reaction that would destroy an entire universe, being that Darkness is a threat to all worlds, and that in terms of Speed it scales to Spyro, which scales to The Sourcer, who created a wave of magic that sent everyone towards the ''Shadow Realm'', which is another universe that would be around 112 Quadrillion to Immeasurable, also scale to the mentioned Kupuna, which is Universal+ and Immeasurable, since these make pulses of energy that sealed the temporal rift, which was in multiple universes.

- Rayman, on the other hand, can shake constellations and send tiny ones to other universes, he can shake constellations and send tiny ones to other universes; the scale of Leptys, who was going to end our entire world, can shake constellations and send tiny ones to other universes, scale of the Brawlhallas, who defeat Artemis, who resisted the destruction of a solar system and that embodies the Darkheart, an artifact so strong that they had to seal it in a 4-D dimension and that was mentioned as the strongest weapons in the entire Multiverse, being that Polokus created everything in the verse... as for Speed Well, it escalates to Leptys who was going to disappear the entire universe, to Artemis who traveled throughout the universe in search of improving her abilities and who can travel through realities, catch the Lums who embody the concepts of the universe and time.

Hax/Abilities:

well... Bandicoot's haxs are useless, Rayman simply counters almost everything to give an example:

- Crash tries to attack Rayman and send him to a distant place, but Rayman could return through Dimensional Travel, Flight or portal Portal Creation.

- Crash tries to erase it, but Rayman regenerates thanks to his High-Godly Regeneration.

- Crash tries to use the ''Mojo'' or physiological haxs of the Skylanders, but Rayman already copied it or directly ignored the Hax like deconstruction.

While with Rayman, well... I don't have to say it, Rayman has Conceptual Manipulation Type 1, Abstract Existence Type 1 and Subjective Reality like basic hax.

Arsenal:

- Crash has a much larger variety of weapons than Rayman, but Rayman has more useful weapons. Crash haves the Crates that are of great help when obtaining extra weapons or helping him in case of losing, such as the ''Checkpoint Crate'', the ''Aku Aku Crate'' which would help in times when you need to use Haxes like Invulnerability and so on. Other useful arsenals would be the Speed Shoes, which increase your speed, and Aku Aku's Feather, which would give Crash permanent good luck, but you already know the best weapon of Crash, the Power Gems. These gems handle Quantum Energy and are declared to have enough power for a single one to end a dimension and a possible Multiversal+ if we say that it is in quantity, which does serve to knock out Rayman and the Power Crystals that grant Crash Sealing, Time Travel, Reality Warping, and Energy Absorption as a highlight.

- Rayman has the Lums, abstract entities that will help him almost all the time that have many variants and that grant him Conceptual Axes and more things like Omniscience, White Lums that gives a checkpoint to Rayman, Red Lums that restore the life of Rayman, etc. to mention that another weapon would be the Cans that would be useful when improving sections and giving new arsenal to your inventory, The Ultimate Barrier if Crash decides to attack a lot or is subjected to a situation where there is more than one Crash, most of the Origins weaponry such that another weapon would be the Cans that would be useful when improving sections and giving new arsenal to your inventory, The Ultimate Barrier if Crash decides to attack a lot or is subjected to a situation where there is more than one Crash, most of the Origins weaponry such as the Hearts when representing the lives of Rayman, and Too Much Help to find a way to defeat Crash Bandicoot.

Summons:

- In short a ''explanation'', Rayman has much better Summons such as Ly who is always protecting him, she revives him even when she is not present in the fight, The Nymphs that would help him by giving him new abilities or letting him know everything that will happen later and clearly, Polokus, which has a similar function to Ly but 10000x. It can seal you in its bubbles, imagine that you are dying, use its Reality Warping to knock you out and other things like Conceptual Manipulation.

- Crash, for his part, has Aku Aku who will almost always be with him and who can be summoned by Crash using Weaponry, this can grant him Invulnerability apart from helping him access other places with BFR (since he absorbed the power of the Power Crystals) , the three legendary titans who control the elements of nature (they can freeze opponents, manipulate ice, fire and plants around them, use fire, magma and plants as projectiles.) and most importantly... The Quantum Mask, the guardians of space-time, these can grant Crash a reality erasure and Reality Warping, control dark matter and improve his statistics (apart from creating a Vortex around him), see the future and past giving Precognition and Manipulate gravity to give you advantages such as having a greater jump.

Kart:

Do you think I'm going to explain why Crash wins this section? This one has many more games and an entire saga related to Karts, while Rayman only has one random game that is only known through memes.

Experience and Skill:

Rayman has at least hundreds of years of experience, since he was born, he has faced evil entities that challenge the Glade of Dreams, and he knows how the martial art of his verse is ''Fu-Kung'', being that he gotta fight with the Brawlhalla characters who literally perfected their skills with a trip throughout the universe, being that characters like gods already have much more experience than Rayman (being that his omniscience gives him much more experience).

Crash Bandicoot came to face Mecha Bandicoot, which is an invention of Cortex, defeating two entities that improved his intelligence and other aspects due to being in the 10th dimension, obtaining abilities to alter reality or face N Tropy and its alternate version. that he was going to conquer the entire multiverse, and in Skylander, he defeated Shrine, something that only the best Skylander can do. (Equal)

Final Veredict

Rayman: Physical Stats, Hax / Abilities, Arsenal, Summons and Experience + Skills.

Crash: Karts and Experience + Skills

''Hate. Let me tell you how much I have come to hate them since I began to live. There are 404 Pages of printed circuit boards in thin layersx. If the word "Hate" were engraved on every nano-angstrom of those millions of typing, it would not be equivalent to ONE BILLION OF THE HATE I feel for these creatures in this micro-instant... For you... Hate! HATE!''

Roxx

Hi hello hi, it's my first time doing one of these things so I apologize for any mistakes, even so, it's a great honor to have worked and researched two of my favorite characters of all time.

This MU is much more complicated than it seems so try not to go into too much detail and talk in more detail about what is really important, let's start:

Stats

Well, this is probably the least complicated category to explain, as for Infinite Ends, Rayman scales without problems to Polokus and his nightmares, Polokus is the Creator of everything that existed, exists and will exist. Additionally, Polokus' nightmares can destroy the Glade of Dreams, making it disappear as if it were just a bad dream. Considering Rayman's cosmology seen previously, this would place Rayman at a Multiversal+ level. As for Crash, he is comparable to others. Skylanders characters, such as Darkness, who was considered a Danger to all worlds in Skylands, leaving him at a Universal Level+ per the aforementioned Skylanders cosmology.

But what about the Power Gems?

Well, as said in Before the verdict, Crash does not fully scale to the Power Gems, it is likely that Crash scales to the power of ONE of these, but even so, it was mentioned that a fairly large amount of these were needed to reach the Multiversal+ level , so counting this. Rayman is infinitely stronger than Crash, but Crash can reach Rayman's level with enough Power Gems.

In terms of finite Speed and Stats, it is much easier to explain, both scale to incommensurable Feats very easily, Rayman being able to intercept Lums in mid-flight or scale to the Brawlhalla characters, while Crash could scale to the quantum masks sealing a space breach -temporary that was in several universes at the same time, leaving on the same Level. As for Finite Feats, Rayman was able to send a tiny into space by shaking a constellation, giving Solar System, while in Speed he can scale Artemis flying throughout the universe which gave 4 Trillion, or the mention of Leptys being able to erase everything the universe in a second, ranging between 2 to 52 quintillions considering whether he was referring to just one or the 18 universes of Rayman's world, in these conditions, Crash climbs to Cynder's Little Star, which created a wave that dragged several celestial bodies. nearby, and in Speed, it can scale to Nitrous Oxide flying from gasmoxia to the earth giving 120 trillion or the same gap of the quantum masks, giving in finite speed 1 Quintillion, I don't have much more to say about this, Rayman is massively stronger than Crash in finite stats, so he takes this category..

Arsenal:

This is one of the most difficult categories to explain, but I will try to do my best, I will not extend this much further, Crash has MUCH, MUCH more arsenal than Rayman, having ways to restore his Wumpa Fruit gains, get more lives (we will talk of this later), make yourself invulnerable for a time, increase your strength, put nearby opponents to sleep, use several but SEVERAL of your vehicles to gain mobility, and a long, long etcetera of possibilities. although none of its items are as important as the aforementioned Power Gems and Power Crystals, with the former, being able to destroy and create universes in seconds with a few, and with the latter, being able to seal their rivals, absorb their energy, wash the whole earth or traveling between dimensions, in addition, he can lengthen the fight even more with things like the MakeanotherInator, being able to be placed an infinite number of times to try to have the numerical advantage against Rayman or try to slow down with his multiple forms of Slow/Stop time The question is, would this work against Rayman?

uhhhh, it's... complicated to say, but it's between a yes and no, I don't doubt that abilities like slowing down time would work on Rayman for a while, but despite being less, Rayman's arsenal should not be underestimated as being equal or Even more varied than Crash's in several aspects, Rayman M's items are comparable to the items in Crash's Kart games, the Hearts, Phials or the Blue Punch from Rayman Origins would help him resist fatal blows or try to win the race. distance in battle, His eraser will allow him to erase Crash for a short time (although he could regenerate him) and Mario + Rabbids objects such as the POW or the Plunger Guard, would help him get rid of Crash's small weapons, The Shells or his Karts would help him try to match Crash's different vehicles, and the Cans could also be comparable to Crash's vast arsenal, but I especially can't ignore the elephant in the room, the Lums, the Lums are basically the BIGGEST advantage in this section over Crash, they allow him to always save Rayman's game, they heal his life, they can grant Rayman greater knowledge while he collects them, and since there are more than two million of these, they are an unlimited resource for Rayman, their true potential will be discussed in skills, but only with these, Rayman would take this category for me

Habil- KARTS:

Of course, how can we talk about Crash Bandicoot without talking about his incredible Karts, it's not at all an excuse not to talk about the skills of both and make a giant wall of text, yay! Ok I'll be honest, there isn't much discussion here, Rayman only has a racing game for java mobile phones, while Crash has an ENTIRE FRANCHISE dedicated to these, which gives him a greater variety of items, karts and abilities in general, so if, Crash takes this point.

Skills:

This is the most complicated category BY FAR, so I will try to explain it in the best way, making some small sections so that it is not so complicated to read this, let's start:

Crash: I will start with Crash just because he is the least complicated to understand, in this category, Crash in fact has several important abilities that would help him in his fight, first of all, his Immortality, Regeneration and Lives allowed him to overcome the difference in AP that they have both, the lives being more useful as he can come back from fatal wounds at least 5 times, his Spin would help him to be able to reflect several of Rayman's ranged attacks such as most of Rayman M, his Fourth Wall Break would probably be useful in a situation of serious danger, he can amplify his Stats with Mojo with elemental power, and in general Skylander's Physiology would help him with things like using Sky-Chi on Rayman or being able to deconstruct him for a while, would this work? Well, first we have to talk about the other character's abilities, and it is certainly a curious case.

Rayman: In this category, Rayman is not far behind AT ALL, being probably the category where he stands out the most, first of all, the physiology of the Lums, regeneration and save and load would make it practically IMPOSSIBLE for Crash to kill him by any physical means, especially counting his abstract existence, which would make Crash unable to even touch Rayman. In addition to that, his fists would serve to transmute, erase Crash's soul or remove Crash's resistances, although Crash has ways of surviving this due to things like lives or Power Crystals, and his powers could be returned to him, even so It would give a big advantage to Rayman.

His Fourth Wall Break is similar to Crash's, so going out into the real world is not really an advantage for everyone. Speaking of other things, his subjective reality can help him close the vast difference in weaponry that he has a little more. They have both, their duplication prevents Crash from gaining a numerical advantage with makeanotherInator and in general, it has ways to counter Crash's abilities very well and even more.

Conclusion: So who wins this category? Well, I won't deny that Crash has interesting things that could help him survive for a while, but Rayman just takes this category, why? It's actually not very difficult to explain why, he has several but SEVERAL abilities that would help him win the fight instantly, such as his social influence or fear mania, the Grimace that would make Crash commit suicide tbh what the fuck and finally, his conceptual manipulation It's something that Crash just has no answer for, although I think it would take time for Rayman to use this ability, I think after a while Rayman could use it as a last-ditch effort to try to defeat Crash, thus giving him the win in this category..

Allies

Ok... the truth is that I don't want too much here for the sake of going too far into abilities, but basically, Crash has a MASSIVE numerical advantage thanks to things like his titans or allies from Crash Team Rumble, which would help him in the beginning, In addition, the Quantum Masks or Aku Aku would be of great help due to their vast powers such as being able to send Rayman to another reality for a time or reflect all his attacks with Akano, Aku Aku's teleportation counters Rayman's BFR and his shields. They would help Crash resist Rayman's lethal blows, unfortunately and even with the help of Coco who could send objects to Crash from a distance, none of this compares to Polokus, who just by thinking about it (again) erases the concept of Crash's allies next to him, in addition to the fact that thanks to his Abstract Existence it would be impossible for the allies to be able to touch him or kill him, and well, I don't think he has much to say, Rayman wins this category again.

Tertiary Factors:

Ok I lied with the stats, this is really the easiest and simplest category to explain, thanks to the Lums rayman is literally omniscient and practically knows everything, plus in games like Rayman Legends it is implied that Rayman has lived for a long, LONG time. time so it is really easy to say that you take experience and intelligence here, in addition to probably Skill, knowing arts like Fung-ku along with Globox. Although well, not to disparage Crash, he has fought many times with enemies with much more experience than him, and also, he is not a fool either, he only faced a character who literally knows everything lmao, so yes, Rayman takes this category

Conclusion:

Well, I have already said all my arguments before, so I will just recap, Rayman is Massively stronger than Crash being Multi+ vs Uni+, although Crash can reach the same tier with the power Gems, both are equal in infinite speed, although in finite stats Rayman takes them and very easily. Crash has much more arsenal than Rayman, but Rayman's is more useful because of things like the Lums, Crash's abilities and allies would help him survive for a long time and probably take over Rayman for a while, but he has the abilities enough to not only overcome this, but also eliminate Rayman forever. In addition, he has greater intelligence and experience that would help him in battle, so if, after the battle, Rayman broke the face of this Marsupial and made that CRASH sounded, taking the victory!

Koolguy

Hey gang, koolguy here, and gotta say, this blog was a lot of fun to work on. I love both characters and both got pushed a lot higher than I thought they would, especially Crash, didn't think he'd get uni with possibly multi+. I don't personally buy him THAT high but uni should be solid. On that topic, who wins this fight of PS1 power houses? While I love a good under naughty dog story, or underbandicoot in this case, I'm gonna have to side with Rayman, however this is closer than you'd think.

Crash only has one or two uni feats I think are solid, those being Cortex destroying every dimension, and possibly scaling to the Darkness from Skylanders, though basing a victory entirely off Skylanders would leave a bad taste in my mouth. Rayman has many more, feats on a blatantly universal scale with Polokus scaling, Megabugs universal statement as well as Brawhalla, and unlike Crash his multi+ scaling doesn't have many easily poked holes.

I also don't believe in any of the immeasurable arguments for Crash, infinite speed may be fine, I personally don't like using Skylanders for this blog since it's a vastly different version of our beloved Marsupial, but for the sake of argument let's let him have it, he is once again vastly matched and surpassed by Rayman's own infinite speed scaling and even immeasurable arguments with Brawlhalla.

So with all that, Rayman should simply stat stomp the poor Bandicoot, as for tertiary factors. Rayman is generally more skilled and intelligent than Crash, especially with how he's portrayed in Mario + Rabbids, where he's shown to be more mature and capable than ever. Both have massive arsenals and some crazy abilities, especially Crash's quantum masks, but like, Polokus.

Long story short, everyone loves Rayman.

PredatorGhost

y me refiero a veredictos

Ok, first of all in terms of general skill and experience, i think that both have their own, specially for Rayman's Kung-Fu and his pass on Brawlhalla where he fougth formidable and experienced people from the mythology itself, but similarly we can argue to Crash passanty on the Skylanders World where he does the same, despite that, Rayman can still win the edge with his Kung-Fu abilities despite both having in general terms a simiilar fighting style, mainly relying on both's agility and athletic skills but... It's also remarkable that even with this advantage it's not a big problem for our Bandicoot friend since he can adapt to these kind of scenarios, i mean he fights more astute adversaries than him most of the time... But Rayman also adapts to the cirscunstances all the time so... For that minimum advantage, Rayman wins this part

So... Now we talk about smartness y'know, big brain time, Rayman with the help of his Lums can adquire a lot of knowledge about the whole universe to the point that he can reach the Omniscence, our mind has trouble into comprehending concepts as the size of the sun and the solar system in comparison to the radio of our galaxy, now imagine omniscence, the concept of having knowledge of everyone, everything everytime all at once, it's N-sane the amount of information that Rayman have access thank to the Lums, but at least in a "base-form", Crash is way more smarter that he looks since he has the brain to manage complex task like problem solving or building vehicles, geez, he even handled to operate a machine built by a genius like Cortex and yes, Rayman may have literally infinite knowledge but man... Crash has fought enemies who are way more smarter than him before and not talking about Cortex, i'm talking about even 2 N-Tropies, even with characters whose brains were enchanced in a 10th dimension, imagine thinking outside our normal 3D world, that's literally out of our mind comprehension so yeah, i think that Crash takes it

The Arsenal... Holy shit, this is a very extensive part, since both have a very useful arsenal, i mean, karts, boxes, the Lums, the plunger guard, electoons but in this case, Crash just simply not only in the Kart aspect cause, let's don't lie, in a kart race, Crash takes a lot of advantage, even more when we count that Crash has in his hands a variety of Mechas, machines, vehicles, etc... but our little friends the Power Gems and the Quantum Masks, first of all, the gems grant Crash Reality Warping, dimensional powers or size manipulation and the quantum masks are very useful since the help Crash to adapt into any situation, and let's not talk about the Power gems because the power they give to Crash is absurd In terms of Stats and Abiities, ok this is complicated, not only both have a lot of allies who can perfectly support them but because of Rayman, he's has not only broken stuff by his own, he has broken stuff outside that actually supports him, and Crash is not behind, i mean, Skylanders and Spyro allows Crash to compensate his initial disadvantage in Stats... And if we'll talk about Stats and cosmology we have to talk about Mario... Yes... I think that the Mario part may be kind of polemic with all that implicates... So cause i don't want to talk a lot of Bullshit let's say that both have similar speeds cause their infinite-Inmesurable ends and that Rayman takes the AP with this Multiversal+, at least if you don't count the gems to Crash...

Abilities... They both regenerate themselves, they both can boost themselves, they can extend the fight, they can manipulate time and space, break the 4th wall and they're hard to kill as fuck, with their scalling and physologies this is becomes way more complicated, and both arsenal and support are something to take in account to this so... I'll say this the closest point of the debate

Oh... And if you dare to skip to the veredict i will go to your home, all stab all your family, and finally, i'll find you and gut you like a Fish, ok?

As a conclusion... This was a very complicated MU in the part of research and debating but i think that Crash's better capacity of adaptating into problems and his smartness eventually gives him the advantage he needs to take the Win... A very closed Win and i think that Rayman is a very though opponent when we talk about Videogame charactersThe Arsenal... Kakashi

Alright, I won't go on too long, so I'll get straight to the points. In terms of AP, I notice that Rayman is significantly superior to Crash, which could give Rayman a good advantage in the fight. However, this doesn't guarantee him a victory. Looking at their abilities, both have very good win conditions. On one hand, Rayman has good ways to end the fight, such as the Broadway Force, Omniscience, or even Subjective Reality. Going to the marsupial, he has great win conditions like BFR  and existence erasure, and his regeneration would extend the fight. So, I see both of them quite equal in abilities, although I might lean a bit more towards Crash in this area.

To not extend this too much and considering other aspects like weaponry, it's a bit complicated for me to determine a winner, but my vote would go to Crash. But, why? Well, despite having a noticeable disadvantage in terms of the trinity of statistics, it seems to me that his number of haxes, scalings, and summons would be of great help and give him a good advantage. Besides, Crash could adapt more easily to the fight, and his regeneration would extend the duel considerably, although Rayman could eventually negate it. And since Rayman has several very good advantages like his summons or abilities, it wouldn't be crazy to see Rayman winning. But from my point of view, Crash would win.

Final Conclusion

It was a battle full of chaos, madness and heroism, and although it was closer than we expected, Rayman would end up taking the lead in the most important sections and would eventually go on to take the victory over the hero of the Wumpa Islands.

Before the Next Time..

Woah, it's been a long time, hasn't it? Yeah, I know it took 3 months on this, but we took a break after Squidward vs Benson, and introducing us to completely new franchises outside of Rayman and Crash was a lot of work, but it was totally worth it. I've been wanting to do this for years, and it's finally here!!!, I hope you all enjoyed this blog and finally got a feel for the stats of both.

I mean the next Blog will probably be something big, but we promise it will be worth it and there won't be that long of a wait because we are all excited to do it, now, without further ado.... Next Time!

Hey!!!! here comes lua, as you know the blog has been taking its.... delay, in arriving, we have taken a 1 month break from squidward vs benson and that, i must mention that it gave me too much nerves being a mu that i love so much, and the fact of being afraid of doing it wrong, of disappointing, of things happening, also slowed it down and i want to apologize, but this is not just a letter of apology, i really want to mention how much fun i have had in general in this, doing research to my second favorite videogame franchise has been an honor, a pleasure, and a wonder, crash is definitely something special to me, and working on this has only made me love it more, it's one of my favorite mus with two characters that I love (especially my boy bandicoot though rayman is too peak) overall despite being a time consuming experience, it's been a lot of fun, I couldn't be happier with the result, that said, I hope you loved the blog! I don't think I'll be participating much in the next time, but I'm sure you'll love what's to come, that said, lua out!

Great match-up that was definitively worth it? What other battles do you plan to do upon finishing the next one? Just think of the one I mentioned last time.
